Morning all. Jo wonderful news about finding your dad on fb, I hope you can sort things out now :)
Nothing on for me today, Mark's popped to town to pick some things up including my first all finished ring/splint, I cant wait to see it, he's going to order the next one too. Its really cold and icy here today so far. Hope you all have a good one :) |

Hiya Mc  Cold and windy here. Im waiting on a phone call from my lisa telling me she has landed safely she travling over 24 hours from Austruaila she was there for christmas, she should be landing around now. Usual cleaning for me today.. Have a good day.. |

Afternoon all Gill - the finger splint looks fab! Maur, hope Lisa has a good flight and is not too jet-lagged|! Gail - you beat me - I'm in my jammies and only thinking about having a shower lol Gom is out in the icy cold playing with the little Nissan Micra which has sat for a year waiting for someone to pass their driving test  So since Erin passed hers yesterday and beat both of her brothers to it, she gets the car! He's booked it for MOT on Weds, charged the battery last night, put it back in this morning and it started first time, so thats a good sign  been costing insurance quotes and it's gonna be expensive no matter what  Cos she is only 19 and inexperienced driver, we are down to about 900 including breakdown cover atm. I think probably we will pay for it(well on a credit card lol) and then she can pay us back monthly over the year! I think I probably plan to stay indoors in the warm for the forseeable lol. Ha, well done Erin on passing your driving test and congrats on being the one to get the car. My sons 1st insurance was about £1000 and his girlfriends first insurance was about £950, so £900 with breakdown sounds quite good (I know it's a lot really ). We were invited to my sons and his girlfriends house for dinner tonight, it was a roast and very nice, we had a good evening - it's a bit strange seeing him all grown up with a house of his own - it's good really. |
