Morning all

Sorry I've not been in here since Friday morning, busy , hectic weekend but I'm here now so I'll do a quick update

The kids had a problem coming home from school Friday, they were in a group walking home from school Nik, Kieran, Dani, Kiera, Elisha & Grace (plenty of witnesses!), 2 lads approached them and were taunting and being verbally abusive to Nik, Kieran told them to shut up, they went for him, Nik swung her (very heavy) school bag at the one pushing, shoving and punching Kieran, the other one had a cake and smeared it all over Nik's (or rather my) jacket, then proceeded to shove another cake into Kieran's face, Dani and the other girls panicked and ran to my friend Linzy's house (Kiera & Elisha's mum), Nik started to run, so did Kieran they boys caught him and started pushing and shoving and punching him again, he got away and ran towards Nik & Linzy's house, then Linzy and her 2 sons (both over 6ft) appeared and the boys ran off.

Kieran does know of one and the description they both gave to the police will deffo help identify him, ginger hair, 5'7", medium build with rotten teeth wearing a school uniform, the police officer who came last night will go to the school on Monday to track this lad down.

He was great with the kids, but on talking to him K & N decided a caution and a swift kick up the backside will do. Kieran's phone dropped out of his pocket in the scuffle, the phone seems to be ok but the battery came out and we haven't found it as yet, Kieran's going to go back later and have another look, only other thing is that my jacket was covered in horrible chocolate cake, but it's been washed now and I've ordered a new battery for Kieran's phone.

The kids are fine, although it brought on a couple of nights worth of nightmares for Nikki, bless her.  I will inform their school today just in case they see Nik fretting but I think she'll be ok, and they're coming home a different route from now on.

Today or rather this morning Paul's got his driving test (again) he says this#ll be the last attempt, we don't have the money for him to continue  so please, everyone have everything crossed for him, his test is at 9.30am

We've also got the wireless router installed now and the laptop too, stunning it is, stunning lol

Whatever the weather, hope you all have a good day today x

Morning.

Hope the kids are over their ordeal Rosemary.
Good luck Paul, will keep my fingers crossed for him

Well, we had someone view the house on Friday, they came back Sat and then coming again today  So, hopefully they like it  They are cash buyers, keeping their house in the UK and thinking of getting another one near for their daughter  Our housse has never been so bloody tidy!!

I know I will be sooooo sad to see this house go but it will mean we are financially secure for a few years and I think in this climate we cant turn that away. We do have a lovely house to move into and inventually we want to move nearer to the coast....

They are coming 11.30 UK time so can you keep your fingers crossed to us too

Have a great day

Nic

Morning all.   Just another day at work and a meeting tonight.

Rosemary, what an awful thing for poor Kieran and Nikki to go through.  I hate bullies, I hope the police find them and give them what for.   Keeping everything crossed for Paul.

Fingers crossed for you too Nic - sounds very pomising

Have a good day at work surfie.

Rosemary first off I'm sorry Paul didn't pass. Secondly what a horrible thing to happen to the kids. Why do people have to be so damn nasty. Hope they give him a damn good talking to when they catch him.
Glad you got the router and lappie working. Laptops rock!
Hi Nic fingers tightly crossed for this couple to buy. Let us know when you hear for sure.
Hi Gail hunni, yup what lovely weather eh! I dont think its really got light all day!
Hi Jo enjoy your day today hunni.

I'm at home all day today, have prepped the veg for dinner, managed to get Nina to school but Grant is having to pick her up bless him. Bit fed up today but hey ho this could be the week I get my answers :) or closer to anyway.

What an awful incident to have happened to Nikki & Kieran and what a shame about Paul not passing .
Nic, they sound as though they like your house, hope they say yes.
I've had a day off work and been babysitting this afternoon.
