Morning all
Mum got on quite well yesterday with her tests but it left her knackered!  They couldn't find anything amiss, so the next stage is today she's having a heart monitor fitted and to return tomorrow to have it removed and the results read, after that (in about 3 months) she's being put on the list for an Angiogram to be done (radioactive dye injected into a vein, then watched on a screen to trace the path of the dye to the heart etc, it'll tell if there's a blocked artery or something)

I had Nikki come home sick from school yesterday, it turns out to be a bit of 'cry wolf', she felt sick but wasn't in the end and when it came to teatime, I offered her crackers and water (just in case.......as you do), also I told her that in cases of sickness, she has to stay home for at least 24hrs which means she'll miss her drama assessment today which prompted her throwing a wobbly, then she came clean, she said she genuinely felt sick for a while as she'd not eaten much during the day whic can make you feel sick (I think it might be to do with this lad who caused them hassle on Friday).  I've now emailed the PC who came round on Friday to ask him to contact us urgently to see what progress has been made and to inform him of Nikki's worries.

I think at some point today (post housework and washing splurge) I'll hunt down some games to install in the arcade and casino, Gilly, your membership should be ok now, we have admin approval of membership currently set, so all accounts have to be validated which is why you couldn't access the site.

Also, my drugs order of Enbrel will be turning up at some point today, its arranged that the nurse is coming tomorrow at 4pm to teach me how to self-inject

Whatever the weather, hope you have a good day today x

Morning.
Kids do try it on. I am terrible now though as Harry has done it too many times. I send them unless they are dying and say if you are that bad the school will ring me, and if they do its bed, no tv etc as they are too ill  to do anything if they are too ill to be a school
They don't try it on so much now!! Tom hates taking medicine so usually the threat of that is enough to make him better!

We are off the town hall again to see if there is any news on the driving range. Need to get some logs in as well.

Thats about it for me today

Have a good one

Nic xx

Hi Rosemary, thanks hunni, yea I couldn't play anything yesterday! I hope you get hold of the pc and get poor Nik's worries laid to rest and hope you get answers tommorrow about your mum.
Hi Nic I have to admit I'm the same, the schools will always send them home if they puke or owt!

Well this morning I've been to the hip surgeon and I've come home happy. He's such a lovely man and he told me I have cysts in my hips (x-ray) and signs of early damage from osteoarthritis which is due to damage done by my Ra. Short term he's booking me in for a steroid jab in the groin :| one side to start with which will be in about 6-8 weeks, then a follow up with him 6 weeks later to see how its worked, it works better for some that for others, then if its worked well he'll do the other side. But long term I'm looking at new hips. Scary but I'm just so happy that I have answers and know what I'm dealing with now.
