Help and advice, and I need some

My daughter Naomi has her first day at school tomorrow, well I use the
term lightly, she's going for a couple of hours, I'll be there too, only in
the assemby hall with the other parents. So you'll be a lurker down tomorrow

Here's my problem, Naomi has a missing left ear lobe, It does'nt affect
her hearing and it has never been an issue at home, maybe Ang can help
me out on this, apparantly these bands grow across your womb for
support, and they restricted the growth of the ear.... in fact I don't even
notice it any more, but I'm sure the other children will, not in a nasty
way caus they're only four, but they'll be curious

Naomi has never been to nursery, and has been very sheltered here at home,
what do I do? should I prepare her beforhand? or wait maybe the kids wont
say anything, I don't know what's best

I'd like to hear your views, caus despite being mad, you's give some good
advice

hiya day
i`m on a serious note today,i wouldnt worry too much coz my nine year old has only got half an ear lobe  and none of the children at her school have ever bothered about it .and up until recently she has allways had her hair tied up .
it`s me who is noticing it more now ,when she was born i didnt even notice it was the gp who pointed it out to me n said we can have that corrected later if you like ,and i said what???????????????
but i` am gonna ask her what she wants to do as i told him as she gets older
so dont worry hun  xxx

She was the only one crying sharon  I tried to sneak out, but she was
having none of it, even though the play doh was very tempting for her
She wrapped her whole body round my legs

So I had to take her out with me to the meeting, when one of the teachers went and got Katie, out of her class to go play with her in the reception room, she
was fine then, just have to go through it all again next week

Aww bless her Day!  I know it's different, but if it helps any, my Rosie was as bald as a coot when she started school (cos of the chemo) and none of the kids said anything!  (I think they just thought she was a boy in drag actually! ) lol

Hope it goes better next week, m8!

I agree mumsie, kids if explained to maybe even have her show them gets the kids to understand it isn't a big deal, there will be the odd kid who likes to be mean, but mostly kids are pretty good if you get at thme young, loree:)
