verbal is spoken abuse and
physical is where the person hits u or pushes you about as such

If either if applied to you or yours, then i don't see  much difference!!!!! They are both very hurtful, and painful!!!!
 
But if you are looking for a biblical sense, then i agree with poll, but can't be arsed to type it!!!LOL

I agree with both Poll and Smurf, but would like to add that I have heard that verbal abuse is just as hurtful and dangerous as physical abuse. No one should ever have to put up with either.

I have had both types of abuse i find verbal stays with you forever it seems the words can hurt so bad...loree
