A newborn baby girl was found stabbed to death 33 years ago in Dun Laoghaire. Last Friday a request went in for the child to be exhumed from the angels grave in Glasnevin cemetry. The child was never identified (I think they named her Noleen) and now a woman has come forward, well she came forward several years ago, to say that she is the mother of the child. The child was the result of sexual abuse when she herself was only a child and that the baby was taken off her by someone and she saw them stabbing the baby.  Cruel bastards.

The thing is about the Angels grave is that hundreds of babies are buried there side by side. 2 of my nephews are there (stillborn) and it will be very difficult to discover which one is this little girl and lots of other babies will be disturbed in the process.

It must be very distressing for people who have children buried there to think their child might be tossed aside to find this baby. Still, I can see why the alleged mother might want to have the baby exhumed and identified.

How terribly sad  It breaks my heart that there is such viciousness and cruelty in this world. I hope they do find the little mite so her mum can finally lay her to rest properly
