Hello. My name is GoldieLady. Thank you for letting me join . I am a 51 year old lady, married with a very very nearly ten year old son...lol....and run my own wholesale jewellery business from home. This has become a bit too busy now for me to handle on my own....but very happy that it seems to have taken off as well as it has. We live in Norfolk, but this weekend we are starting to move into a rental property in Harrogate in North Yorkshire...an area I have really come to love, so very excited. Only found it last Saturday so as you can imagine very chaotic here at the moment . We have a large house here to sell, but as the market is very slow, we have decided to move into a rental so that we can all be together near to my husbands work. We have a golden retriever and it has been very difficult finding a rental that would allow her to be with us, just could'nt leave her as she is a big part of our family....lol...Hubby works for the police in the IT department. Please excuse me if I can't take as much apart in the group over the next couple of weeks or so until we are more settled, but will come on here as much as I can and try to get to know peeps, and let you get to know me. Also we are arranging cut of points for phones and broadband here and setting up accounts in Harrogate, we have heard today that they cannot give us a date that they will cut us off here, but that it will be in the next 20 days...a bit of a worry because of my business, but still we know we will be connected in Harrogate, hubby is looking into this to see what he can do, but if I do dissapear out of sight, then you will know the reason so thought I would mention it. Hi Goldie, I'm Linnie married to Mark for 15 years and like Momma we have 4 girls and 1 boy, the girls are Robyn 18 (tomorrow), Zarabeth 14, Alexa 11 and Kessandra 7 and the boy is Byron 4, we live in Surrey with 1 dog, 5 cats, 3 ferrets, 1 hamster, 1 snake and 9 giant African land snails. Hope you enjoy it here. |

Hello everyone.....well I am now finally in North Yorkshire, what a terrible hectic time it's been, chatotic is just not near enough to explain it, but we are finally back online again, so now can pop on the group form time to time, however have many many orders to fill and get caught up with, but promise I will pop on as and when I can, and will be able to do so more, when I am on top of things here a bit....probably take about two weeks to get to that point I expect. So hope you are all keeping well, and look forward to getting to know you all more when I have more time. Just a thought, does anyone live in the Harrogate area, it's going to be quite a thing to do to get to know all new people again, because as you know I work from home with my business, so it can get a bit lonely, just wondered if anyone was around here? Aww Bless thank you. Yes you are right but I havn't really got that much confidense getting to know new peeps, but will have to make myself get out more, trouble working from home, you are indoors too much, but we have some truly wonderful open places around here, can't wait to explore and although very busy we are going to try to get out for an hour every evening, and I'm looking for a slimming class to join lol....Think what I miss the most is having a good natter on the phone sometimes, may I will get to know other's here better in time and we can chat that way too, that would be really nice....anyway must go so very much to do...God Bles..love Goldieladyx ....it's really strange to have hubby pop in at lunchtime, really quite nice, think this is going to be the best thing we have ever done....it's so very beautiful around here....bet Ireland is too?......Take care folks.....xxxxx |
