This is not really a recipe, but I feel you hard working mums out there need to know this. lol. You know when you just cant be arsed, or have not got time to cook a proper meal but your concience is saying 'You cannot feed this family junk food again'? Well here is an answer. In tesco they do tinned chicken in a white sauce. Boil up some rice, heat up the tinned chicken and serve. If you are feeling adventurous you can add canned sweetcorn and/or fried mushrooms. I find one tin of chicken serves 2-3 people, but depends on the size of your appetites. The whole meal is on the table in about 15 minutes, with virtually no effort and only a couple of pans for washing up, and yet I find that I feel that its much healthier than some other fast foods.
One day I will post a recipe of something proper to cook and prove that I am not a totally terrible mum!
