I found his book 'Lost light' at the local market and have just finished it yesterday. Its different to my usual choice in that its main character is a copper, and there are no forensics involved, just the case. I really enjoyed it though. His characters are good and the story was easy to read and enjoyable. He also kept some secrets till the end.
I knew I knew the name... I had the Poet and Trunk Music upstairs, can't say I remember them, but if I had two I must have liked at least one! I brought the Poet up to my mother tonight with a few more books, we've to try keep her mind active.
