A couple of weeks ago we watched 'Kidadult hood'. I really wasnt sure about this film when Mark bought it home, but was very surprised. Its written by one of the young guys in it, and is basically about a group of kids, living in the London area. Their older teens on the verge of adulthood, hence the name and it was a fab insight, if not a little scary at times, of the way kids think and feel about stuff. Well worth seeing I'd say. I really enjoyed it.
Last night we watched 'Running scared' with Paul Walker of 'the fast a furious'.
Again Mark bought it home and I thought wtf Its basically about a gun thats used to kill some bent coppers and belonging to a member of the mob. It follows the blokes (Paul's) journey to retrieve the gun he was meant to get rid off following the murder of the cops, after a neighbours child uses it to shoot his abusive stepfather. It was totally brilliant, fast paced and with a few shocks along the way. It also has a couple of great twists. The boy in it (neighbours child) is also great in this. The direction is also totally fab, some really good effects in there.
Give this one a whirl, I'm really glad I did
