No Joanne, these first two are old Prayers from the Eastern Orthodox tradition, I've books and books of them, they all have incredible histories as well - but I won't bore you or anyone with more about that  - just something I have a personal love for. The last thing I posted was something that I always sort of think of as a prayer, it reminds me of one, but it's actually a Bob Dylan song - from a fantastic album for any junky with a spiritual bent - the album was called "Shot of Love" - the lyrics in fact from the title song include - "I don't need a shot of heroin to cure my disease, I don't need a shot of turpentine lord to bring me to my knees, I don't need a shot of cocaine to help me to repent - I don't need a shot of whiskey to help me become president - I need a shot of love" - the whole album is great - it's given me goosebumps gazillions of times. Good music - I need to get another copy in fact.
