When I was reading that part I wanted to scream at her for not blurting out her end and afterward saying nothing to dispute what Stephenson was saying but I wasn't suprised he over heard the conversation. I have to say I thought there would have been a little bit more of a fight or defiance if you will from Michael instead of just easily going along with what Daff was telling him and accepting it as truth. Not that I didn't want to see them together I just found it odd that he was so sure she was betraying his mother and then would so easily forgive her kwim?
