No dishwasher - it's been on the blink from Thursday.  Which wouldn't be so bad if we KNEW we didn't have a dishwasher but when you think you do and then you let dishes sit for 4 days plus use a lot more than you should - well...ack!  I just filled one of those big sterilite tubs with hot water and soap and put all the dishes from the dishwasher plus our camping dishes that didn't get washed on the campsite and all the others in to soak all day while I'm at my cleaning job.  Washed the many many many glasses by hand.  I truly don't mind washing dishes by hand - I kind of like it actually but 1) there's no room to dry them all and I suck at drying - I just kind of smear the water around and 2) I think the dishwasher does a better job.  Assuming it's actually working lol.

Also have laundry out the butt.  Sorry for the crude expression - but I do!  I never take clothes from the dryer without folding them because I know it's a nightmare later but I currently have 3-4 loads I did that with yesterday after camping - before we left I was washing everything in my dressers because there's a funky laundry smell in my bedroom that I can't figure out so all of my pants were in the dryer - those I threw in a pile figuring they were mostly jeans so who cares if they wrinkle.  That started the trend - ah, well, at least all the camping stuff is washed plus all my bedding since I flopped on the bed in my stinky campfire smelling clothes when we got home to nap for a couple of hours.

Camping with the kids was fun.  We had several bad hours Saturday when they decided to bicker bicker bicker and that put Scott and me in bad moods but all in all it was fun.  We'll probably do it again only WAY more organized and prepared.  I hated trying to cook real meals out of a big tub of junk.  On Scout trips we use a "patrol box" which is a big wooden box with a hinged door in front - you open it and there are shelves of all the essentials.  So I want to make one for us only out of plastic drawers - the Scout one weighs about 1,000 pounds and takes two men to carry it and set it up.  It has iron legs!  A card table and some plastic drawers would be fine for us.

B&C had never been non-Scout camping before.  We were sitting at the campfire the first night and Chane said, "so, um, do they announce our activities in the morning?"  We shouldn't have laughed but it was cute.  I was like, no sweetie there are no activities!  They both said they liked this kind of camping too - my kids never get to be out on their own on the road or anywhere else but we let them take their bikes and ride around the camping loop which had about 40 sites and was probably about 1/10 of a mile but was mostly out of sight of us so I know they felt free and independent.  Especially Chane.  He rode around and around.  Then we hiked up to Cunningham Falls and climbed the falls.  It was bone-numbingly cold at night though but the payoff was no flying insects.  If it were warmer we'd have had to deal with bugs so that was good - I just need my own good sleeping bag - Braeden and I shared so it was hard to stay warm.  We put regular blankets on and the sleeping bag on top - it's a 20 degree bag so it was VERY toasty at 40 degrees or whatever the nights were.

Gotta get ready for my cleaning job.  Then run errands for Scouts, then finish planning my meeting and get dinner ready before Scouts.  Mondays are so rushed!

Aw man, that sucks about the dishwasher! I suck at drying as well, I must say.

That's great about camping! Sounds fun. lol on Chane's comment! I'm wishing we went camping this past week-end.... it was so warm but would have been quite chilly at night. Like you said, no bugs though!

I'm feeling really yucky today. I skipped a dose on Sat. and seemd to do much better than I did a few weeks ago when I tried that but it still totally kicked my butt. I'm supposed to skip today but not sure I will. Man, I have no clue how I'll manage to get off this junk.

I need to get to Wal-mart to stock up on crackers and they have diapers really cheap. I kinda feel like a migraine is coming so I want to see if I'm right or not. Plus, I'm freakin' tired. Timmy was up 3-5:30. Delaney doesn't have school today so I'd feel bad if I lazed around all day. Plus, I feel kinda motivated to do stuff yet not at the same time. lol

Well, hope your day isn't too rushed, Joni! I'm going to find some more food, I'm thinking. Maybe that's what's upsetting my stomach.

I've never been on what you're on but I am really bad about antidepressants - I go on and off them which is a BIG no-no but I don't notice anything other than depression coming back.  And of course by the time I notice that it's too late to just take a pill and feel better - it takes weeks for them to work for me and weeks for them to stop working.  But I don't feel yucky or anything when I either stop or start them.  I have a psychiatric apptmt coming up soon where I need to figure out exactly what I should do about drugs!  I hope you are able to get thru this weaning-off period.

Does your Walmart have sales or something?  Ours doesn't other than clearance.

I hope you feel better - sounds like you need some rest!  I know what you mean about motivated yet not at the same time - I get that way sometimes!  Mostly we just need some slave labor or something for those days when we're rarin' to go mentally but physically are too tired!

My cleaning job was better than normal today, altho this one is never bad.  It's the very  nice house owned by the great-grandparents.  Their grandson moved out meaning they don't have their great-grandson (4yo) every other week anymore and I noticed they recarpeted several of their rooms.  At first I wasn't positive because their house is so clean - I thought they just replaced some rugs in the living room because the color changed but once I saw the stairs I knew they'd recarpeted.  Imagine having a house nice enough that someone can't tell you recarpeted until they see the stairs!  I mean, a person can't tell because the old carpet wasn't terrible, not because it's all hidden by junk or something lol.  I just wasn't positive about their bedroom.  Anyway I'm always amazed by their house - every single month they have something newly done.  They do not strike me as having a lot of money but they have enough and you can tell they just manage it well and are just organized and methodical and not all flipsy doodle scatterbrained like I feel all the time.  The man retired from the same place my dad did so he's making an okay pension I'm sure, but they just seem like they have this idea in their heads of the next thing they want to do, then they have it done or do it when the times comes.  There is never any residue or mess, really - it's like a genie came while I was gone and changed something.  One time their grand foyer that used to open to a vaulted ceiling was suddenly lower  with a sitting area at the top of the stairs where air used to be.  But there was no construction mess.  Another time the entire house was painted - that time there was residue because the painters were messy but all the furniture and stuff was put back.  If it were me there'd be tubs of junk still sitting around.  Last time the kitchen was a different color and the time before there was suddenly this half-wall in the entrance area - painted the same color as the walls with all the trim already on and painted - it looked like it came with the house.  Anyway that amazes me - altho when the man hurt his shoulder they asked me to come mid-month to vacuum (he usually vacuums in between my cleanings) and for the first time ever I went into their upstairs bedrooms and the one they normally hang out in while I clean which I always assumed was a really nice office is actually more of a junk room.  Nothing like a junk room I would have but it was still nice to see that they had piles SOMEWHERE in the house!  And that time also their house was more messy because they hadn't moved everything for a real cleaning - it was weird to see the house with the tv on and rugs and towels and stuff out - they normally pick up all their scatter rugs and bath towels and stuff for me.  One thing that I notice that probably makes it easier for them to just do one thing and stop is that they don't seem to mind things like the fact that all their walls were painted but their baseboards weren't.  Like this time, I noticed their baseboards could really use a coat of paint but I'm sure they'll get to it eventually -meanwhile I'd probably wait to do the carpet until I did the baseboards which would be waiting on something else yada yada yada and there'd be this big production.  They do something like get a new toilet without changing their entire bathroom, or add a new coffee table without rearranging all the furniture...

Anyway I'm babbling.

I MUST go shower quickly and run 4 errands before I get the kids off the bus in 1 hour and 17 minutes. Yikes!  5-minute shower here I come - the places I have to go are all across town but luckily all in a row pretty much so hopefully with no kids I can go bam bam bam and get back here quickly!
