Removing all the regular routine stuff - added it to the list because my brain is tired and needed everything written down but this is supposed to be a broader list...

I'm really tired now -have been working steadily since 4 AM but house still looks messy. Going to go shower, etc, then pick up main areas incl the 5 clean comforters off the stairs & the kitchen counters, make bed, sweep kitchen, lay out snack & playclothes and then rest until time to get kids if there's any time left. Oh and put in cornstarch and turn the crockpot on high w/the lid off for awhile. Maybe if I work really hard I can finish all of that before 1:30 and have an hour to relax and see if there's anything on tv.

Tired and C played video games 'til his thumb got sore but that's okay, I really needed a day to get things done around here! And he doesn't feel neglected because he's used to me playing with him a lot now so he didn't even pester - actually he said I wasted his time by making him eat lunch lol. Gotta remember to trim C's bangs after school, too, and make sure the kids' fingernails are short... And call Virgin Mobile to see why I can't top-up Erik's cell phone for his bday present (yes, we are giving him his phone back for a re-run bday present).

Wound up picking up the bedroom after I made the bed and then putting away a basket of our laundry that was in there. Picked up some more then got majorly distracted and wound up organizing my big red cabinet and several of my kitchen cabinets and making labels for all the ones that are different so Scott & Erik will get used to them fast (B&C don't really go in the cabinets except for a dish, glass, or straw). So no resting and the main area of the house isn't very good - also put in cornstarch and am boiling the liquid out of the barbecue (YUM) and laid out playclothes. Need to go lay out snack and take a quick shower so I don't end up going to work with my hair wet.

I am just not in the mood to pick up I guess. I got into organizing the crafts and did a lot of that but now I have another mess. Sand from the sandart on teh floor, odds and ends that I don't know how to categorize lying around, paper from the back of labels. I'm at a standstill on that project now - not sure where to go from here!

I got too wrapped up in my list last week so I think I'm going to list my goals, print the list and try not to be constantly updating it. It's back to my old mentality and I don't want to be that way! I focus on what I've accomplished instead of what's in the moment. And keeping TADAs makes me more likely to try to do more I can list instead of more with C.
