Like Jeanette, I am unable to excercise ---so we can only do it by eating healthy - or healthier.      Here are changes I have made to my diet.     * Using Lite Milk. * Trying very hard to eat breakfast. * and also try to eat 3 meals daily. * Eating at least 1 "Fat Buster" foods daily.(usually more) * Eating much less margarine (even Sherry noticed my bread and scrape)                       |

Update --- Sunday,10th.Feb.     My new digital scales arrived on Monday -- and weighed myself.(not daring to record it here LOL.) - Weighed myself again this morning and I had lost 1.2 k Not sure if this loss is because of anything I did or if it is because of the fasting, tests etc. - Fingers crossed that it stays off.                     |

Well done Lesley, I haven't lost a thing this week, and I have been so good, haven't had butter, fat or oil in two weeks, maybe the wine is slowing me down, but I enjoy it, so it is staying. |

Thanks girls but I have been bad this week. With running around and Jim's birthday, I think I might be back to square 1.         |

I was pleasantly surprised when I weighed myself this morning -- although I was the same weight as last weigh in --- (well actually .1 of a kilo lighter - the new scales are great because on the old ones I wouldn't have got that difference LOL) After all the partying & irregular meals etc. of the last few weeks I was expecting a weight gain.                  |

Just noticed how long it's been since I posted here -- sorry but you can guess that my progress has been non existant. Pleased to report that the Dr said when I go on Friday to get my results from my blood test tomorrow -- he will discuss a programme with me -- it will take 3 - 4 weeks before I get word if I can get in -- so fingers crossed. Hope you are all doing better than I am. Hugs,Lesley. |

Hi Guys, Sorry I have been so long in posting but am pleased to report I have had a little success. Since my last weigh in  a fortnight ago I have lost 1.5k. This is a total of 3.7 since April 1st.     So it is a small start..     The doc hasn't received the aproval for my support programme yet, although it should be soon, when he gets that I will be able to do some gentle exercising.         |

Hi Guys! The good news is that the approval has come through for the support programme.     The bad news is that I have been told I am not allowed to do any exercising because of the strain on the heart.     I have lost a little weight - this week it was .5kilo but all up I have lost 4.5ks.-mostly in my boobs!!! I have not made any drastic changes in my diet but have changed my eating habits --   I am continuing to eat breakfast & eat the melons as my fruit.     By the way the Nutritionist suggests fortnightly weigh-ins and not weekly ones.     How are you all getting on? Write in and let us know & share your tips with us all. Love Lesley.              |

Don't jump into exercising too quickly Jeanette - just continue with the dieting,it's a lot slower but hopefully it will stay off. Although I haven't lost anything the last couple weeks -- I still haven't gained either. I am afraid I have been to too many parties these last few weeks (& have another one tomorrow) & some days I still forget to eat breakfast. Just checking my last entry and since then I have lost another kilo -- but last few weeks a big ZERO. Take care, love Lesley. |
