As the flames cut through the darkness
and dance across your skin.
I feel a passion growing
and burning from within.
I trace the contours of your face
with just my finger tips
and marvel at the softness
of a kiss from your sweet lips.
The scent that is the essence
of you and only you
is burned deep in my memory
and to the fire is a fuel.
I remember wellthe salty tast
that lies upon your skin.
A taste that feeds my hunger
time and time again.
I hear your gentle breathing
and wonder from the start
if the dreams that you are dreaming
are coming from the heart.
I dare not wake you darling
your tired this is true
I can wait till morning to
make love again to you
