How many times have we thanked you�?BR> For the heroic tasks you do
How many times have you helped us
Hugged us and saw us through
How many times have you gone home
And cried about what you have seen
How many times has your heart broken
Yet not know what your tears mean..
These words may not mean anything
Or they can mean everything too
To me its all the tears I cried
For the ones that I cry for you
Your job is scary and unique
And doing it takes a brave man
I pray for your safety each night
For the freedom in which you stand
To say thank you isn't enough
For the things you do each day
My hero now I give this hug
And for your safety now I pray
Now as you put out your next fire�?BR> Or rescue a victim from harm
Or need a shoulder to help you through
Now I extend a helping arm
