1. What is your idea of the perfect date? (meaning man and woman going out for the evening, not a location on a calendar) a long sunset walk on a secluded beach to a private cabana with a surf and turf dinner for two by candle light and the crashing waves as our only music.  Followed by stargazing and intelligent conversation.

2.  If you could go back to college for anything at all what would it be and why? when I was young I wanted to study law.. but didn't have the finances for it nor a real idea as to what kind of law I wanted to practice.. Now there still isn't the finances but if I could go back I would study Constitutional Law.

3. Do you tend to be led most by your head or your heart? My head tells me that I tend to be led more by my heart...lol... ok it really is my heart.

4. If the area you lived in was in the path of a natural disaster, and you were forced to evacuate, what 3 things would you take with you? (Your family and pets are a given)finding three things would be a chore for me.  I am not a material person by nature.  I know that one of them would definitely be my Bible pack(which includes a note book and a pen) does that count as three? If not I would have to add clothing to the list and my favorite blanket.

5.  How do you pamper yourself? I really haven't had a chance to do this in a very very long time but I like to take a long hot bath by candle light and with wine and a good book.

6.  To what lengths would you go to be with the one you love? Wow.. well I once moved across country to get away from someone that I knew I didn't love... Guess I would do the same if the situation was reversed... but that would be a lot harder now that I have kids... It is easier to say what  I wouldn't do ... to give up my kids or put them in jeopardy.. or compromise my values.

7. If you had a loved one with a terminal illness who was in constant pain, would you suppport them if they chose to take their own life? NO...I would however make sure that they had what ever it took to make them comfortable.

8. What lifelong goal are you still trying to reach? lol.. being thinner

9. if u were given 3 wishes, what would they be and why? to be thinner...to find a Godly man to spend the rest of my life with and happiness for my children.. Do I really need to explain them?

10. If you were required to volunteer for an organization, or perform some type of community service, what would you want to do? work in a pregnacy resource center

11.
What do you consider to be your best quality? compassion

12. What's your favorite thing to do on a girl's (or boy's) night out? a good movie and coffee and talking

13. Do you think you have any personality quirks?Yep.. Oh . you want to know what they are?... um.. well I am messy.. I know where everything is but to anyone outside looking in... it looks very unorganized and cluttered.

14. If someone gave you $1,000 on the condition that you had to spend it today, what would you buy? (You can't pay bills with it) clothes and books

15. What's your favorite fast food restaurant, and what do you usually order there? El Polo loco... Fiesta Salade

16. Who's the most memorable person you've met and why? Ron.. I met him when I first moved to Phoenix.. He was funny.. intelligent.. nonjudgemental and just an all around terrific guy.. There were no romantic sparks but why he is most memorable is this.. he had moved away and we kept in contact through the years .. in his last year it was online....Although he was dieing of cancer he remained brave and never complained about his own problem rather helping others with theirs.  and with all the pain that he was going through to the end he maintained his faith. I know that I will see him again. but until then I miss him very much.

17. What's your favorite thing about the opposite sex? Ummm. they way they look... also the way they look at things.. although it doesn't always make sense to me.. it is nice to get a different perspective on things..

18. Name a skill you would like to learn. drawing and painting and carving... I have all these pictures in my mind that I would love to be able to share through Art but unfortuantly if I try to put them into some kind of form they look really ridiculous

19. How many siblings do you have? one brother and one sister.. both younger

20. What's your favorite board game? Scrabble

Lori,
If you're still interested in pursuing a career in law, it's not too late--and it doesn't have to be too expensive. I was teaching before I got pregnant for the first time and Bobby and I decided I would be a stay at home mom. When the oldest was 2 and I was pregnant again, I decided I needed a hobby OUTSIDE the house. LOL. I enrolled in a paralegal course. I went 3 nights a week from 6:30-9:30 for 9 months. At that time it was $2,500, but they had financial aid and payment plans available. When I went back to work full time I never even thought of going back to teaching. The firm I work at helps with my law school tuition, and what they don't pay, student loans do. There are even some firms out there that will pay 100% if you keep a certain GPA. You probably have to promise to work for them for a certain amount of time--but that's a plus--you have a guaranteed job. The toughest part is school hours. When you work full-time you can only go to school at night. Depending on the age of your kids, you may need a babysitter, which is an additional expense. When I first went back to school Bobby was home at night and now my daughter is old enough to take care of her and her sister, so I'm lucky in that respect.
