Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

1-1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine softened
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
2-3/4 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnemon
 

Procedure

 
Mix 1-1/2 cups sugar, the butter, shortening and eggs in a large bowl.
 
Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
 
Refrigerate dough for ease in handling.
 
Heat oven to 400º F
 
Mix 1/4 cup sugar and the cinnemon together in small bowl.
 
Shape dough into 1-1/4 balls.
 
Roll balls in cinnemon sugar mixture.
 
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
 
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or just until set.
 
Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
 
Makes approximately 4 dozen cookies.

Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1-1/4 cupflour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Procedure

Mix shortening, peanut butter,, sugars and egg well.
 
Blend in remaining ingredients.
 
Cover and chill.
 
Heat oven to 375ºF
 
Shape into 1" balls.
 
Place 3" apart on greased baking sheet
 
Flatten with fork dipped in flour.
 
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until set but not hard.
 
Makes about 3 dozen.

Crazy Corn

Ingredients

Popcorn
1/2 cup of Margarine
1/4 cup of Karo Corn Syrup
1 cup of White Sugar
1 tsp of Vanilla
Favorite colour food colouring
nuts and/or candy of yur choice

Procedure

mix margarine, syrup and white sugar and bring to a boil for one minute while constantly stirring.  Add vanilla and colouring, pour over popcorn stirring all the time.  Add in nuts and/or candy

Rotel chicken

Ingredients

1can rotel tomatoes(can sub for any Mexican tomatoes)
3or 4Chicken Breast
1medium onion
1bell pepper (opitional)
2cups of rice (cooked)
2T.or chicken base(or 3 chicken bullion cubes)
1Large pkg.of Mexican cheese shredded
1/2block of large block of velveta cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
 
 Granishes
chopped  cilantro
sliced avacodos
chopped jalenpenos
chopped radishes
diced tomatoes
lettuce
sour cream
 
tortilla chips
                                                                                                                 

Procedure

In A large pan with about 3 cup of watercook chicken onion chiken baseand green bell pepper.until chicken is done a pulls apart. set aside and cool a little>Cook rice according to directions (uncle ben ricewith chicken and herbs is great
to)then in baking dish sray with a little pam add chicken rice , tomatoes,and velveta cheese cubes,then top with mexican cheese.if the mixture is to dry add some of thebroth from the chicken.bake at 350degrees until cheese melt.
then serve with garnishes .enjoy

Italian Chicken

Ingredients

 5Chicken Breasts(you can use a whole chicken)
1small bottle of Italian dressing 

Procedure

clean and skin chicken and place into a slow cookeradd italian dressing  over the top and cook on low until done.
 
 
 
 
Serve with Garlic bread or hot rolls ansd salad

Pork chop Casserole

Ingredients

5or 6pork chops
5or6 potatoes cleaned and cut in halves
5or 6 large carrots cleanrd and cut in halves
1 medium onion cut into quarters
1small can cream mushroom soup
1small can cream of chicken soup or youcan use cream of celery soup
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure

Layer pork chopsand veggies in a baking dish addsoup on top with one can of water.bake at 350 for about 1houror uintil veggieand meat is tender cover with foilOr you can layer in crock and cook on low all day.
  Serve with hot roll and fruit for desert. Enjoy

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs. groud beef(or ground turkey)
1large onion (chopped)
1medium bell pepper(diced)
2 cans tomatoes mexicanstyle or stewed
2cans red or beans(undrained)
2T.chillipowder or to your taste
salt and pepper to taste
1small bottle catsup+1bottle water
1or 2 can wateror to your desired thickness
(Iput one)

Procedure

brown ground beef,onion,bell pepper,drain grease
add tomatoes ,beans,catsup,chilli powder,salt, pepper,to you r taste.cook together for about 45mins.
 
 
 
serve with shredded cheese,corn chips,or crackers
 
 
to make something fun use indiviual pkg.of cornchipthr snack packs,open put in chill,lettuce ,diceds tomatoes,onions,and have a taco in a bag.

1 3lbs chicken
4potatoes peeled
4carrots
1med onion (quartered0
4 whole cloves
1 clove ofgarlic
salt and pepper
3cups of water

Procedure

clean chicken ,and salt the cavitity, place in roasting pan ,breast side down.place veggie around ,water Bake at 350 or till done .or place in crock pot and cook all day on low.
 
Serve hot roll and a fruit.

Salsa Chicken

Ingredients

SALSA CHICKEN
(So Easy you have time to Salsa)
 
Place in the crockpot in this order
 
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts (fist size)
1 cup Salsa
1 pkg Taco seasoning mix
(1/2 pkg works too if you don't like it too spicy)
1/3 cup water
 
Cover and cook on low for about 4-6 hours
 
Serve over rice and garnish with sour cream.

Peanut Butter Cookies ( No Flour)

Ingredients

1  cup Peanut Butter
3/4  cup white sugar
1 egg

Procedure

1)  Preheat oven to 325*
2)  In a blender add Peanut Butter, Sugar and Egg
3)  Mix well
4)  Drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet
5)  Bake about 10 minutes or until golden in colour
 
 
NO FLOUR IS USED
