Riddle No. 1

A horse travels a certain distance each day. Strangely enough, two of its legs travel 30 miles each day and the other two legs travel nearly 31 miles. It would seem that two of the horse's legs must be one mile ahead of the other two legs, but of course this can't be true. Since the horse is normal, how is this situation possible?

Riddle No. 2

A house with two occupants, sometimes one, rarely three.
Break the walls, eat the boarders, then throw away me.
What am I?

Riddle No. 3

A hunter met two shepherds, one of whom had three loaves and the other, five loaves. All the loaves were the same size. The three men agreed to share the eight loaves equally between them. After they had eaten, the hunter gave the shepherds eight bronze coins as payment for his meal. How should the two shepherds fairly divide this money?

#3 as the shepard with the 3 loaves on gave up 1/3 of one of his loaves and the shepard with the 5 loaves had to give up 2 1/3 of his loaves the gold should be split this way one bronze coin per third of bread giving the shepard with 3 loaves 1 coin and the shepard with 5 loaves 7.
