I know I'd never get these done every day, but I"m going to make an attempt to post some every week.

1.)Charlotte picks up a teaspoon quantity of sugar using only one finger. How?

2.)Five siblings are they, their color is true;
One belongs to one, four are shared by two.
Connected together, some by locks;
Many meet their fate upon the rocks.
Arrange their initials, and you should
Find things that are found in a neighborhood.
What has just been described?

3.)One day a farmer decides to put his five donkeys and five horses together in the same field to save space. He moves the animals into the empty field and leaves them with plenty of grass and hay to eat and water to drink.

One year later he decides to move the animals back into separate fields but after moving the horses and the donkeys out he finds that as well as himself there is still one animal left in the field. During the year no animal moved in or out of the field so what is this extra animal and where has it come from?

Good Luck!!!

2) Oh lordy.... I know I know... one of those siblings isn't frozen yet and is causing good ol' lake effect snow in my neck of the woods.....

One belongs to the USA and 4 are shared by the USA and Canada... their initials spell HOMES... which is how we learned to remember them for tests back in school... and their names are Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie and Superior... collectively known as the Great Lakes....
