Simple Background tile This is a fairly simple background tile. It was done in PSP 9 but you should be able to do it in either 7 or 8. Let's get started. Open up a new transparent canvass, 100x100. Floodfill with a deep red or any color of your choice. I used #7e4242. Add a new layer. Set your foreground color to a light tan. I used #ece8e2. Right click the foreground color and pick Other. In the upper right of the screen, put a check mark next to Texture. Then click on the Canvass Fine texture. Angle 0 Scale 100 Floodfill your canvass. Go back to layer 1 which was filled with your red color. Lower the opacity to 86%. Merge Visible. To make it Seamless, go to Effects>>Image Effects>>Seamless tiling and use the default settings. Save as a jpg. That's it. See I told you it was simple.
