What's up dudes and dudettes?

If we haven't met yet I also have RSD and I hate it. My wife Tami says some of the stuff I do to relive the pain if it or I should say when it gets too much for me to handle and the crazy man thoughts start flowing. What I was taught was an old Korean 3rd eye sight meditation. I know that everyone is like...riiiiight.... meditation is so simple but it dosen't work.....WRONG..... 3rd  eye sight is much more than meditation... you can actually be there and smell, hear, taste, and live whats there. Crazy huh?...I used to think so too 15yrs. ago. Master Che...a very wise and persistant man would not let me stop until I got it and got it correctly. Have you ever closed your eyes so tight that you can see an orange and red glow?. Well your 1/3 of the way there. When you do this empty your mind of what is around you and think of the most wonderful place that you would like to be where there is no pain, only beautiful desires and I don't mean pornographic guys...lol...really pick that place and don't let anything vere you from it and I mean sounds, dogs, children, nothing. When you get total silence in your head and that red orange color in your eyes then the most important step is left and that is to focus on the space between your God givin eyes and look at the images that are there and change it to the place that you want to be at. You may not beable to get there the first few times so don't get discouraged and give up. Please don't.... I felt like giving up too and it took me more than a few time to conquer it but when I did the feeling of peace and solitude was so abundant I didn't want to let go or come back, but you have too..... sorry loosing too much time there will be addicting and will slowly overtake your thoughts of what is really goin on so please remember what is real and what is dream. If you need help getting there I do feel that I am the pimp of this masterey and I feel very fortuneated that I was taught this by such a wise man.  I do hope that I can help you all as much as this has helped me and remember it is only a bandage on the cut of life and it's only there to help you forget and feel freedom for a while. OK...your turn... take the bull by the horns and ride this puppy as far as you can...enjoy the peace... love ya Poppa Scoti.....Tami's other white meat...lol

Ok Poppa Scoti!
This is mamaJama. I DO NOT think you have crazy man thoughts. I am a nurse that hates meds! How that works out I am not sure. BUT! I have tried to go the holistic route myself. I am currently knocked up so I have no other choice. I am strictly limited to acupuncture. Which helps sometimes. But I also practice Qi Gong (prononced "CHEE-GONG"). I have been building my Qi for a little while now and practice my forms and meditaion regularly. I have not mastered the 3rd eye meditation so if you can give me some direction, I am willing to listen. One thing that has worked for me in Qi Gong is a thing called hanging (my RSD is in my right hand/wrist/arm/shoulder/neck/head) it works well but requires I bend at the waist and hang my upper body for a few minutes at a time for a few cycles. Not working well these days cause I am squishing my baby inside?! Anyways, it sounds like your wife is super supportive from all the postings I have seen. And I am sure she, like my husband figures let the crazy people thoughts and actions go on and on as long as we will stop complaining about this crazy pain for just a little while.
Peace and crazy people thoughts to you too!
-mamaJama

I guess you could say I am using a variation of this.
It does work but it takes a lot of work.
Nothing like going to a safe place in your mind!

I've tired this but I can only get the the orange and not past that but, I'm hopeful that i will get to my happy place at least once.  Things are just crasy right now for me with kids home from school, and the puppy someone is always calling me.... like they are right now... gotta run.
