Hey Tami, and the whole group! I am so ready for the wonder of warm spring weather... and I'm ready for a miracle! For all of us. I'm a newby here too, and this awful condition just wants to take over my body... fight as I do, it seems to be winning, and that isthe first time I have let myself really think that, but the past few weeks... what I thought was my good side (left side) is now so terribly painful. I can't even move my left hand across my chest to my right shoulder and arm. I'm making a trip to see my Dr. tomorrow, if I can get out. Ugh! snow again... Oh well... I really didn't start writing this to complain. But... I did, and now I want to hear from all my friends. I miss you all so much. Seems I just started talking to you, and for some reason we all just stopped. Or at least I can't find anyone... {{{{{{{{group}}}}}}}} |

This is Rebecca checking in. I'm doing the best a seventeen year old with RSD can be doing. I've been accepted to a local private college that is a very nice school. Thanks to my academic achievments, good test scores, and of course my families financial need I know have $19,332 towards my education. Most of these scholarships are renewable as long as I maintain a 3.0. Haven't really decided what I want to be yet, but for now I'm going to be an English Major. That's always been my strongest subject. Right now I'm in a college level English class so I am taking care of my Freshman Compisition class right now while I'm still in highschool. The doctors are trying to find if there is anything else wrong with me that could be contributing to my many problems right now. I had bloodwork done yesterday...I hate needles...to test for anemia since I've been having dizzy almost passing out spells alot lately, and for arthritis because my doctor didn't like my x-rays. They want to test for some other things too, but the doctor wasn't in yesterday so I'm not sure what all they'll do. |

Hi Rebecca, I am glad to see you are still with us in the group. We haven't heard much from you lately but I guess your school work is keeping you very busy since you are doing so well at it. Way to go!!!!!! I hope the doc's find somthing out for you soon. It is awful hard to deal with anything else on top of RSD and school and a teenage life. You have a lot of strength and will power. I am proud of you for not giving in to it all. Hope you are feeling better soon and keep up the great work! Tami62 |
