Hi Cosmicmama; I have had RSD in both arms, shoulders, neck and down my spine to T8. I had three tests one right after the other one to diagnosis RSD/CRPSII. Yes, I did have to stand in cold water one foot then the other. At this time I hadnt been treated at all for the horrific pain I was barely.....When the Dr finished my tests he ask me what they were using to treat my case of RSD, I damn near fainted. For 2 1/2 years cork comp dr's were calling me a phoney,a drug seeker and a hypocondriac. The Dr that did the thermography was literally sttunned to find out how I had been treated. The first test was a nueclar bone scan, this was just ofr a benchmark but there was already noticable bone loss in my forearms, the last test I had was a ganglion stellate block...for the first time in almost 3 years I was pain free for about 4 hours. Back to the thermogram, it wasnt bad at all, just a little cold, they keep that room at 60 degreed and it was icewater I was standing in.I was so happy to find out that I did have RSD simply so that criminal Farmers Insurance Company would stop screwing with me, they even went as far to pic a few carefully selected medical records and had one of the staff Doctors in another state twist what they said and call me a liar and a fake. I am in Colorado, are you? Franknberrie |
