Hi MamaJama, I get upper eppidurals for a deteriorating disc disease and they also help with the burning of RSD that I have in both arms...they help me a lot, up to 6 months each time. They also helped me right away and got even better after a couple of days. The eppidural is a simple procedure, it done under a floroscope....do not let anyone do it with out a floroscope, very dangerious ans there are a small handfull of Drs who think they are good enough to do it with out the aid of a floroscope(xray). They dont hurt as you should be put under anistesia just long enough for the Dr to do the injection. I get a little nausiated for a couple of day after but my Dr said that is unusual. I hope that it works as well for you as it does for me...good luck Frank |
