I'm not even sure what to say.  I feel so overwhelmed and drained at the same time.  My life is missing a vital piece and I have no idea what it is.  I have so many questions and I do't even know what they are.  I feel empty and overfilled--complacent and restless. Perhaps my spirit is urging me to do something, but I don't know what it is...
 
Can someone help me?

Raven~the only answer I can give you is to look deep inside yourself...you will find the answers and the missing pieces you seek....
If you feel that your life is missing a vital piece, perhaps it is because you are searching for your path...you feel empty because you are wandering and not seeing the Path in front of you....Believe me we all have been there...no path is easy to find and sometimes harder to walk.
Sit quietly in a darken room with a candle lit, smudge yourself and ask the Elders to speak to you...they will...but you have to listen very closely.
We are here to help you but you need to find the empty pieces before we can lead you to where you need to be.
 
 
We are all here for each other....we are family here.

I feel like I have a long journey ahead of me.  I though it was perhaps that I have let my childhood self go, in order to become an adult.  It seems that is where the pendulum swings (idiomatic, not literally).  I don't remember how to play...*laughs*...I don't remember how to be a kid.  Ha, I think that is it.  I need to shut up and listen to my spirit a bit more often.  I need to get out an experience fall...I need to tend to the spirit I once had as a little girl. 
 
I came seeking the answers and now I have found...

Sliverlady, I think I know what your going through. I to sometimes feel as thou I have lost my way and wasted my youth.  Grandma Nelson always said that if is a word smack in the middle of life, and if we think to much on if, we don't live life.  Take Witchways suggestions.  She as helped me along my path. Take some time to yourself to sort things out.  As you said you need to get out and enjoy yourself, just do it and have fun.  What you are seeking will come to you.  But it my not come in the way in which you might think.

As we walk along our paths, we are tested many times...The great Spirit does this to teach us life's lessons.
Yes family is very important but...you say that this would be the worst time to start a family...I don't know the details but I have to say that you have to look beyond what you personally want and look to see if this would be right for the baby that you bring into this world...A child is a wonderful thing in one's life but not a cure-all to whatever ails us at this time...You are still searching for yourself...I have to ask is this a good thing to have a child when you don't even understand yourself?
You have stated that you are  looking for the child inside yourself....I feel that until you find that innerchild you so desperately need...that it would not be fair to the young life you would bring forward....
I do not claim to know all answers as I am a child of Tawara walking through this life learning all the time....but as an Elder I feel I must speak these words to you...Food for thought, you might say....Yes, listen to your heart....but also listen to your mind....You will make the right choice for you when you do this...If it is meant to be you will have your child now...if you see that waiting might be best for all...then that will be the path you need to take.
Whatever you decide may the Great Spirit always walk beside you and guide you young sister.

Thank you for all of you thoughtful responses.  I have never had that kind of gentleness expressed like that.  I know that this is the wrong time for me to start a family.  For many reasons, one of them being that I am a twenty year old working college student.  I think that essentially my spirit was trying to get my attention, so that I could be told to think about the option~that I would not be alone for all of my life.  I would not bring a child into the world if I was not ready.  In saying that, I mean that I would do everything possible to avoid getting pregnant.  I know that a soul~a baby girl soul~has chosen me to be her mother and I am truly honored by that decision.  I want to give her the best.  To be the best for her and now~I am not at my best....but in all of this, I think that Spirit wants me to know that Love is in my future.  That I have an important future.  I suppose that all of the fuss was Spirit trying to get through my thick head...:)
