By the previews for next week it looks like they are going to kill off the son who is in Vietnam.  Does anyone watch d this show?

I only discovered this show about midway through last season, and it has since become my absolute favorite dramatic series.  I really really hope that they aren't planning to kill off that character.  It's just possible that he's only MIA and not really dead.

PS:  I'm calling him "that character", because the other guys in his unit have been calling him "Prior" for so long that I can't remember his first name.  Another "senior moment" for Smoky.

Hey Smoky and LJ...

I love American Dreams too.  Its one of the few show that we can watch as a family.  I have an 8yr old and 7 yr old, and we watch together.  They dont always understand what is happening, but its a good learning tool of history.

I dont think they will kill off JJ. I think they will have him be MIA, and maybe be found for the season finale.

I love the Roxanne character, and Patty the smart-alek little sister.

I also love the music!  The musical guests are great.  The way they do the musical numbers...blending the original performances with the current is cool.

Eileen, I hope you are right about JJ. Roxanne and Patty are my favorite characters too. I really don't care for Meg. If they replaced her I wouldn't care.  She was once on a Soap Opera that I watched. It was Guiding Life.  Anyone remember her on that show?
