I'm reading her book"The First Year "Fibromyalgia". She's a M.D. and she also suffers with FM. Tessy .. what you said yesterday about "hardly able to get out of bed" .... well ... look at the symptoms it's one of the top five Symptoms of F.M.

I 'm going to try and list the symptoms of Fibromyalgia .. which isn't easy because the list is long and and it varies from person to person. What amazes me the most is some of the symptoms I never connected with being "One problem" ,sometimes I'd have this set of symptoms and the next minute I'd have another set  Case in point "Restless leg syndrome and muscle cramping",I periododicly will have such severe leg cramps that will wake me up from a sound sleep ... all I can do is "walk them off" then drink alot of Orange Juice.Or the headaches which are Migraine in intensity .. well ... I thought they are just Migraines but they are also a symptom of FM. What I'm trying to say is ... the symptoms vary from day to day but the one constant is the muscular pain which is worse in the morning and may improve alittle when you get up and get moving but then ... as the day goes on it gets worse again and turns into a mind boggeling tiredness that you gotta lay down .. your energy is gone and your done for the day .It doesn't matter how much sleep you may get upon awakening you do not feel refreshed , you can take 200 naps in a day ... it doesn't matter , it's like you've turned the hour glass in the morning and when the sands run out .. your done for the day .  ............And that's one group of symptoms I get lol.

P.S. What I've learned to do is ... again ... a Good Multi vitamin (I take a multi-vitaming "Pack") in the morning ,pain relief pill (Aleve, Tylenol ,Advil or Motrin) my favorite is Aleve but please don't do as I do .. do what your doctor tells you to do , some vitamins and or pain relief pills can alter your prescription drugs you may be taking .. check with your doctor first .
When I first found out I had FM I went with Aleve in the morning then for the break thru pain ... 5 hours later I'd take Tylenol then 4 or 5 hours later .. Aleve again which would take me thru the night.
Now .. I take an Aleve in the morning ONLY if I need it .I'm only mentioning this because I wanted to show you all that FM can be improved and your quality of Life can improve drastically!
Check with your Doctor first before starting any "self help" program listed here .
I'm just trying to share my daily fight with FM please check with your doctor He's the one with the Degree
