How is it that we come to this particular journey? Perhaps there is a journey prior to the one we are embarking on in our lives. There lies the path to our very births.

Each of is a very tiny part of the entire cosmos. We are existing as a small reflection of the whole structure. We are drawn to this physical life time and others because of attributes needed to manifest our completion. Leaving the structure of wholeness, our energy is drawn magnetically... attracted... to manifest into the one way we inhabit our life time and space. This is the place we were born into where the necessary conditions exist to develop these attributes. This space would fit no other but you.

Our Memory is complete, although recall varies considerably from person to person. When we are ready to see past the veil, we will. I cannot remember my birth, but I can recall many childhood moments. Yet my birth remains in memory and has a strong effect on my life. My birth is in my memory and recorded within the cosmic consciousness. Some call these memories the Akaskic Records. We not only have access to our memories, but we grow as all life does. As you walk past the drawings of animals on the cave walls you will realize our births and even our current physical forms are products of this memory. You can feel the artists. Then one of us grows, and steps past the known bounds. With this step we all have the opportunity to evolve with them. The conditions have been gathered and recorded though the long course of time.

This focus is on our mental journeys--the remembered thoughts and the ones awaiting us. This journey is the one that every seeker makes one way or another. You are an Alchemist. You may not consider yourself to be an Alchemist because you do not stay up all night trying to change your lead into another form in order to attain gold. Or do you? The answer may surprise you. We are all Alchemists in one form or another searching for what the truth really is. Some of us just may not know it yet, or remember.

�?nbsp; 0. Introduction: Where you can find the truth!

Questing

When we are small, we know everything. We are quite accepting about the wonder that we, and all around us really are. Then we forget we know everything as we grow up and become more involved with learning and focusing on our success in the physical world. (There is, however, a little stage there where we probably think we really do know everything, accompanied by the amused smiles of our parents.) Then we find the world is really so vast, it is probably absolutely impossible to have true knowing without flipping a lid or two. The funny thing is, we are still wrong.

;-)  Knowing is just much different than we believe and often not accessible in the manner in which we pursue it.

There are as many different ways that people find their personal journey.  Many find their trip much different than others or from what they themselves expected.    The journey begins, perhaps, started by questioning.  Reality is challenged somehow.  A glimpse of the impossible may be captured. Maybe something more has happened to the individual. Illness, including what may seem like mental illness may creep in. There might be the threat of death or of a fatal disease.  Perhaps you learned a way of healing or something new that questions your previously accepted ideas about the world. What is thought to be a miracle might occur.

There are many different questions for all different people.  The one thought remains the similar for everyone. The carrots of motivation may be slightly different. Perhaps your very life depends on your journey to the truth.  Maybe you believe you have needs that can be met by answering your question. You look at money, love, power and want some of that because it can get you where you want to be at this time. Maybe you just need to eat. The one thing is, one way or another, you know that you must know the answer to your personal question.   You have a drive for this knowledge, healing, and satisfaction. This drive sends you out into a whole new world. This world is different than the one you previously remembered, but your memory of how you viewed the world as a child may come back to you.  The Alchemist sooner or later takes the huge step forward and finds themselves on a quest.

Burning through the layers.

For many the first step upon starting the journey is like a baptism by fire. Calcination is beneficial because the layers or self are burned through removing the false person built by the ego. The true self is exposed, removing the layers that keep beings from seeing what the truth is.

Most of us believe this view is what we really want, but upon starting to see what we have been, or what we could have done, fear creeps in. There is often a "burning" discontent at life and what we ourselves have become. Are we evil, bad, blackened to the core? We face our shadow self and hold out our hands pleading. "How could such darkness have even come to this life?" we ask ourselves. Perhaps fear is better expressed as jumping in with a growl that shakes us to the center of our bones.

At times the Alchemist may feel beyond stopping the process and that they are no longer in control. That these illusions are "forcefully" released or even wrenched out by ourselves because it is time. We are pushed on by our discontent. By burning away the false layers of self to look at the true self, a stronger, and better life can be attained. It may be difficult to see this now. The time is now to begin to tell yourself the truth about yourself.
