The Age of Reason by Thomas Paine.  This is an historical document written by the son of a Quaker and a man who was part of the American Revolution.  Although Paine believes in God, he is against religion and the Bible.  He outlines his thinking in this famous document.

ARADIA, or the Gospel of the Witches by Charles G. Leland.  This book is also known as the Vangelo delle Streghe.  This is an Aradian Wiccan scripture containing the creation story, the Charge of the Goddess, and many other tales deriving from Italian Witchcraft.   This book was published by Charles Leland in 1599 i (1899 AD) under the title "Aradia, or the Gospel of the Witches." The book requires serious annotation to be properly understood, and is a cornerstone of Wiccan thought.

Jeet Kune Do : Bruce Lee's Commentaries on the Martial Way (The Bruce Lee Library, Vol 3) by Bruce Lee, Mitoshi Uyehara In 1970, Bruce Lee suffered from a back injury which confined him to bed.  This did not stop his growth however, since he spent this time defining his philosophies which are captured in seven volumes. (I think there is a great lesson there!)  This one is number 3 of that set.  Click here to see sample pages on Amazon.
