I'm not sure if I believe in it myself, But yesterday I was thinking of a close friend of mine, and I saw him, stopped and chatted for a while, about an hour later I saw him again, and about 2 hours after that I saw him again. I'm thinking that once is okay, twice is a coincidence, but a third time...........It's just weird! Does anyone else have this happen to them? And if you do is there any meaning behind it?

Do you know Chazz when I bump into someone I haven't seen for ages I will continue to bump into them for the next few days - I have no idea why though sorry. One thing I keep getting at the moment is that out of the blue I will think of someone again in some cases that I haven't thought of for years and then I will suddenly bump into their Dad or wife or another relation, strange eh?? I just had it happen two days ago..... This week-end hubby and I were discussing Hockey (canadians fans!...well actually more him than me). I spoke of a girl I knew back in high school (20 years the last time I saw her!) who ws a big fan and wore her shirt every day in school during the last stanley cup (that hey won). anyhow, 2-3 days later I bumped into her at the grocery store....funny thing is that I go to this grocery store pretty much all the time and on the same day.....haven't seen her in 20 years! I think that sometimes these things happen because they are significant. Perhaps not about the person per say, but about a situation that htey are living through or about one's life. I was able to see something relevant in my encounter with her, I'm sure htat there is something in yours. Three times is not a coincedance.....i would look him up and talk to him. See what's up in his life....perhaps there is something going on in his life that is parrell to yours or that he has gone through and can help you (or vice versa)...... we are led to meet many for many reasons! I agree with MArtine wholeheartedly, three times for me would mean that one of you may have a message or may be able to help the other with something. Have you read the Celestine Prophecy? Check it out of the library and have a read if you haven't a great adventure story and a wonderful spiritual journey for you at the same time. either that or Diana Coopers Spiritual Adventure stories. Yeah! I had a good old chat with him, just like old times..we chatted for ages, seems what's bringing us together involves a mutual friend who's falling on severe hard times, its funny because both of us have been helping this mutual friend. Only we've only just found out that both of us have been doing it. It's wonderful, and weird all at once, but luckily now our mutual friend is back on their feet, with a roof over their heads now.
wow! that's all I can say, and now my friend and I have decided to keep in contact alot more often!

Thats fantastic Chazz!!! So lovely to catch up with your friend and realise that you were somehow linked by another mutual friend in need. I think sometimes spirit wants us to see the goodness around us, and goes by very funny ways to show us.

I "just" read a wonderful writing in a book that talks about Synchronicity I will attach for anyone to read--and this is a synchronicity in itself. I have things like this happen to me so often people at work think I'm a little weird. LOL

Synchronicity
Carl Jung called it “synchronicity�?two seemingly unrelated events that cannot be explained by cause and effect but are uniquely linked by personal meaning.
We call it coincidence. Serendipity. Luck. Chance. Fate. We call it everything, but what it really is: Grace, God. When chance events occur “at just the right moment, and bring for the just the right individuals to suddenly send our lives in a new and important direction,�?James Redfield tells us in The Celestine Prophecy, we’re meant to “intuit higher meanings in these mysterious happenings.�?BR>But most of the time we’re too busy to pay attention. Too busy with Real Life more than a passing nod. So the Celestine moment is written off with an “Isn’t that interesting?�?shrug instead of a “What do you suppose this means?�?inquiry. Thanks Kareen, I've also read today in a magasine (coincidence? I think not!) That Angels assist us in ways of synchronicity, to make us 'wake up' and notice these things as a message from God, Angels and our higher selves. Thanks for Posting Prayerwoman. loads of love chazz xxxxxxxxxxx |
