- Nickname - please check your chat nickname in the list. You may enter a name if you wish, but this is NOT compulsory.
Safety For people new to chatting, here are a few guidelines: - - Use a FREE email address for chatting (ie: Hotmail, Yahoo mail etc), not your ISP email address. This gives you a certain degree of anonymity.
- Don't give too much away about yourself, for example; do not give your name, address or any information that could allow a stranger to trace you.
- Don't assume that what someone is telling you about themselves is the truth. Withold trust until you get to know someone.
- Do not send out pics of yourself to anyone who may ask for them.
- Be cautious on meeting someone you don't know, meet in a public place and make sure someone else knows who you are meeting.
- If you experience aggravation from another member whilst in The Anglian Connection please inform a manager.
Consider The people you chat to on the internet are real people with real feelings. To some of our members, and to many people, it is a large part of their social life. Please respect them. The Anglian Connection is for friends to share their experiences, jokes, stories and to socialise.
