once the migration tool is used, it will make a copy of this group and transfer it over there. this group will still remain till Feb21st so there will be plenty of time once migrated to let all the members here know. Cait or Stormi will have to go to multiply and create a personal account prior to using the migration tool. |

I started a new group over on Multiply. The name of the group is The Drive In and the address is [email protected]. The format is entirely different and I'm not sure how this is going to work. I certainly didnt merge anything yet. Fathertime, Please send me your email address and I will invite you to see how this works. [email protected] I'm on the phone with Elvis right now and its like the blind leading the vision impaired here. Neither one of us is real sure what we are doing.LOL The format looks kind of like Facebook to me. I have to go to Maine to get my mother tomorrow I should be back within a week. (((((((((Roomies)))))))) Someone figure this crap all out ...then send me pics, maps and crayons!!! Gawd, it was so good to talk to Stormi last night. Poor thing, it was late for her. Bless her heart, she tried to help me.. but I think I'm beyond help!!! From what I understand, all of our years can be transfered somewhere else,, at least it's not lost.. cuzzz folks.. some of the junk that I wrote on the board is going in a BOOK.. REMINDER. DO NOT attempt to merge your group till the tool is ready AND, don't create a group over there with the same name as this one, otherwise it will be necessary for you to rename it. I looked at the one Cait created and i think ur safe since it's named drive50 or something like that and not THE DRIVE IN. Once the tool is ready for merging, i'll let you all know and try to help you all get there as much as i can. Sure don't want to lose contact with anyone here. The good news is that once this and other groups are migrated over there, MSN will still have this and other groups still up so direction can be given on how to get to the new place in space. FT |

Using the migration(merge) tool once it's available simply means that it will make a copy of this and other groups over at the new place. This one here on MSN will still remain till Feb21st at least. |

Hi Fathertime (Randy) Saw the 1st hint of our moving in my hotmail this morning and panic,panick, how the ham do you spell panicked?. Anyway I did that. Went to the site to d/l all the pics and gifs I was dearly fond of and that took quite awhile I'll tell ya. Soooo,,, when you say "copy" are you then talking indeed about all the pics and gifs, and such? |

Hi Ann, So nice to see you. YES, the copy is suppose to do all the albums, etc but, as with all things, some glitches may be there. It's a good idea for everyone to save the pictures they want to their computer so they can be uploaded there when and if there is a problem. I've created a personal site with Multiply and will try to help everyone i can with the transition. Should you like to come to my personal page, you'd be most welcome, just in case MSN tries to pull the plug earlier, OR, there are problems here getting in. That way, you would have a place to come to ask questions. If i don't know the answer, which i don't know many at this time, i'll find the answer for you. FT |
