You will see a button that says "Convert Now", click on it. You will see two lines that can be changed... one says "Format" and the other says "Attributes". Click on Attributes and go down the list to 11025hz, 8bit, mono 11kbs. Click here and make sure that is what is highlighted in the box. Click OK and OK again. Your Sound Recorder should now be shown by itself and a green line across the middle of a black background.

Look at your CD Player and see the length of time for your song/track. Let's say for example that its 02.45m's. That's 2 minutes and 45 seconds.
-
Hit the red button on your Sound Recorder. It should show one second at a time... go to 60 seconds. At the end of 60 seconds, hit the red button again. It should now go to 120 seconds.. and so forth and so forth. what you are doing is setting the amount of time that you want to record. REMEMBER: You haven't started recording... you are just setting the time.
-
O.K. Our song/track was 2 minutes and 45 seconds, so you would have to click the red button on the Sound Recorder three times. (60 seconds x 3 = 180 seconds). IMPORTANT: Push the arrow button BACK on the Recorder so you start from the beginning!
-
Walla! We're ready to record!
-
Push the BIG button to start the CD Player then IMMEDIATELY push the red button on the Sound Recorder. You should now be on your way to recording an excellent wav! the only adjustment you may want to make is the sound level up or down. The line on the Recorder helps you there!
