Our new server name is Starchat. To connect to this server the address is irc.starchat.net You can connect to it using any port from 6667 through to 7000.
Due to security issues the individual servers are no longer avialable for public viewing but connecting to the above should always work.
PLEASE NOTE: The AOL ban has been lifted at this time. It is advisable though that anyone using AOL keeps a nick registered at all times as the ban could be put back in the blink of an eye and you will get caught in the middle of a mess. :)
If you are on AOL you must go to
http://www.starchat.net/aol.php and register to chat now.
*** Please note that as of october 2003 this has been removed. However if serious troubles arise with AOL users it may be re-instated without warning so if in doubt, join #starchat, which is the help room if your experiencing problems.

The room name of course is #50sdrivein.
Any user who uses Mirc, Pirch and or 2.5 who are unsure of how to add servers to their chat program can also just type in a command to log onto a new server. This is very simple to do. Simply bring up your chat program...and where you normally type your text to talk in a room, type in /server irc.starchat.net:6667 This command will log you onto the server.
