Hello everyone, Long time, no see... I just heard the extremely sad news about SamtheLion passing, and I was wondering if anyone, ANYONE has any information about him. Or how to get ahold of one of his daughters. I am so so so devastated and can't believe how deeply this has affected me. I truly want to pay my respects to his family. Oh no... not Sam the lion.. I loved the man with all of my heart. Here is a suggestion.. When Bill Blush passed away.. I just kept emailing his acct. and finally received an answer back from his daughter,, It might work with Sam. Give it a shot!!! Hugs ~ Elvis |

so saddened by this news, seems another wonderful friend and roomie taken home. i am thankful to say i met him at the same time i met elvis and padre for the first time. i am taking this very hard also, blessings to his daughters and i do understand their loss. love chapelle |

I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Sam the Lion. He was an intelligent, kind and funny guy. He will be missed by many. Glad to have known him...Godspeed Sam. FaciaBella |

I am So saddened to hear about Sam's passing. Ltns UCA and Faciabella. As Our circle of friends tightens it reminds me more and more how precious those I have come to know and love.Miss you all madly. Dear All, After several attempts, and with the help of Bill Ohio, I finally received a response from Sam's daughter Laura. Sam passed away on November 8th. He had not been well for a few years, yet his daughter was not aware of just how ill he was. He did know his time was coming as some of his actions in the weeks prior, dictated the same. I kept in touch with Sam through emails and in the trivie room on a weekly basis. He had his good days and bad days, yet never complained nor gave any indication in the few days before when I spoke to him, that he was so seriously ill. Laura said the trivie room kept him busy and gave him a social life. She has received many kind emails from people who knew how special Dan was, and is very grateful to know how much he touched our lives. I just wanted to pass this on and still find it difficult to talk about. God Bless Dan. sunshine48 |

I remember when Sam came in the old chat rooms....I used to Grrrrrrrrrrrrrowl @ him, after all he was a LION & a darn good one. Not much to show, a rolling stone gathers no moss. Many of you have beautiful homes and places, and I know they must bring you joy. Just had other things to do in my life. Still don't know what is up next, right where I started ... :) Do have some irreplaceable things, couple of beautiful daughters and one grandson. Blessed with many good friends. Don't know how much more a fella could want.
