Was just wondering, do any of U know where U where when U first heard the news of 911?? Share Ur reponses with your fellow drive in ((Roomies)).
I'll start :
I remember when the drive in was VERY active. We had about 28 in the room that AM. How I found out about 911 was through Plain Jane. She came in the room and told us all what had happened. Holy chit.. I was in disbelief at that point.. and told her "Ur joking aren't ya" she said "NOOOOOOOOOOO" Well needless to say, I think everyone of us that had access to a TV went to their sets. I know I went flying into the living room, turned on the TV set, and watched in dismay as the second airliner smashed into the WTC. Needless to say, Heck I forgot all about U roomies.. and stayed glued to that set all day long!!! Very Very Sad Day today!!!

PS: Please say a prayer for my brother and his family.. They live on the out skirts of Houston TX.. and that hurricane is headed right towards him. They are leaving their beautiful mobile home tomorrow @ 4:00 AM. Have gone into town to rent a trailer to take some of their memories with them.. I asked him this AM.. did U take my picture with U... His reponse was, YES, that's to keep the bats away at night!!! lol dumb chit but I do love him.
