Flash, thought you might enjoy one of the books I am currently reading .  It is titled "WARRIOR, The Legend of Colonel Richard Meinertzhagen" by Peter Hathaway Capstick.  It is the story of a British officer who serves from the end of the Raj until after WWII especially his time in Africa (BEA) with the 3rd & 4th KAR.   He was also used as a spy in both GEA and Turkey.  Excellent read.
