LOL you silly buggars

The party was really good fun, most of us wore costume.  It was at the house of one of Jon's older brothers - there are 6 brothers in all, I lose count of names, but it was at one of their house anyway, and they had a large conservatory and even attached a sort of big tent to the back of the house so we could all mingle quite freely.

Lots of drink and food and music, and lots of toddlers there too, it was funny to see them playing games like bobbing for an apple, I used to play that when I was little!!

If there were any trick or treat callers, they would be out of luck because we would not have heard them.

Hayden was wearing a little black all in one suit with a skeleton body on the front, and the bones glowed in the dark - DH took some pictures, I hope they turned out, I will post them if they did.

The party began about 6pm Gart - our clocks went back last week, so for this week, I have been 6 hours ahead of your East coast time.  Anyway, we got there shortly after that time, and we left about 10.30pm so that they could get Hayden home and to bed  and anyway, DH was getting tired of the noise I think.

But it was November before I posted here again LOL

Bossman - of course they let me into Halloween parties - I haunt them if they don't

Look at these two pumpkins my daughter carved - with an ordinary kitchen knife!!  People had apparently been taking photos of them in her window - us included.

Ya knows that our hero (JB for those who don't know), won first prize for the best costume three years in a row, and he never had one to wear, just his natural good looks, and that cute little drool he has.

This year for Halloween I just sat out on the front stoop I don't have and smiled.

That worked out pretty good, didn't have no trick or treaters at all, but the cops showed up 14 times.

Thank you Lesley -  Barbara did indeed make a wonderful job, so much so, people were taking photos of them as they walked past her house, we could see the flashlight through the curtains, and we could hear their comments.

She has inherited the "artistic" gene, she paints quite well, but I could not have done those pumpkins, especially with just a kitchen knife!!  You are not able to see it properly, but in some areas, she didn't actually cut all the way through, she left a thin membrane intact so that the light shines differently through different sections.
