Among the many dweller of the Shire
there was Frodo with eyes of fire
his innocence gave him the weight
to carry his precious Gollum said
Merry,Pippin and Sam,the halflings
were also together with Mr Baggins
who could guess they were to be
the ones to change the earth's destiny
So hard was the task that
the fellowship could hardly be set
nine fellows to save the world
more precious than any pearl
Gandalf the grey,Aragorn the brave
for whom the whole world prayed
the sword of Boromir,the axe of Gimli
the bow of Legolas were now ready
Through the dark woods,unto the haunted hills
straight to the Mordor where the evil fills
for no danger can make them annoyed
knowing that the Ring must be destroyed
