Now  Yellow is quite the sunshiny color isn't it? How do you feel right now with all this yellow about? Warm? Focused? Intense? Jittery? Relaxed? Yellow is a warm color that reminds many of the sun or sunlight. It's not uncommon to see yellow used as a healing color. Some use it much as if it were sunlight to "burn away" impurities or negaitivies. Here are some ways that Yellow is used ( or things it is associated with).

 Yellow is a soothing color associated with the mind and with healing. It is no wonder that it is associated with the third Chakra which deals with ones own personal power and boundaries as well as will and strengths.

So how to use yellow........... well are you feeling "un creative" or non productive? Perhaps you are a bit "blue". Maybe you feel like you have some negativity "sticking " to you.

Try a bit of Yellow on for size.

You can dress yourself in yellows. Remember a little goes a long ways ( no point in looking like the part of a Sunflower in a pageant).

You can try a breathing technique ( explained in the color breathing post).

You can sit in front of or near a yellow light for awhile ( easy enough done. Check out the post called "Bathing in Colored Light" ).

You can carry a gemstone of said color on your person.

You can meditate or just focus on a yellow candle for a while too, soaking up what the color has to offer you.
