Variations on Connie's First Aid Ointment
Another combination that is a favorite is Comfrey, Calendula, and Chamomile.I have made this ointment for years, and have many miracle stories that I could tell you. It has always been great, but adding Emu Oil (I just got some before Christmas this year, so have just started adding it) has made this even better if that is possible. Please do try it without if you don't have any Emu Oil, but I would recommend getting some. I add it to every ointment, lip balm, foot balm etc. that I make now. If you are like me and like to experiment I have also added Shea Butter to ointments and find that it combines well with this ointment as well. This last batch I made has just been used by my friend who just had her first baby, on her stitches (reduces swelling, and takes away sting), nipples, & babies bottom (with the Tea Tree Oil it will even take away yeast infection).
