Samhain 2006 CelebrationEvent Details: CMA Samhain 2006 (Theme to be announced) . We sponsor a 4 day camping event to celebrate the turning of the wheel on our property in Central Texas. You must be a member of CMA to attend. The festival offers entertainment, classes on various spiritual paths and programs, craft classes, multiple rituals of varying sizes and paths, vendor row which promises Magickal items of all types. Vendors are established members of CMA. There are plenty of events to attend, or you may kick back and enjoy the atmosphere, relax and meet and great old and new friends. CMA welcomes families and provides activities for children through teens although some events may be restricted to adults only depending on the content. CMA dose not provide cabins or sleeping quarters. members camp in tents or recreational vehicles and in some cases construct very unusual sleeping areas for the festival. CMA has an onsite first aid facility staffed by qualified medical personnel to provide first aid only and have both easy access for EMS and an EMS heliport if needed. The safety of our family is of the utmost importance to us. This is a camping event in a wilderness area with a lot of wildlife in the area.
CMA does provide a volunteer Guardian staff to assist members, provide security in the parking area and to watch out for the safety of attendees.
Facilities include a large shower facility with group showers and private individual showers, with unlimited HOT water powered by on demand very high efficiency on demand heaters. Sanitation is provided by an abundance of portable toilets that are cleaned daily. We do encourage attendees to limit trash and recycle where possible, although we do provide trash disposal services.
Food services are provided by a member owned company for attendee’s wishing to take advantage not cooking meals. Anzara LLC provides fresh, hot meals daily at breakfast lunch and dinner from an onsite commercial kitchen pavilion, prepared under the supervision of a trained chef and prepared by volunteers at the event. Food may be purchased ala-carte or with a pre purchased food card covering all meals. Past dinners have included chicken Kiev, bar-b-que, fajitas and Italian faire with site made desserts.
CMA supports all State, Federal and local statutes and by our agreement with local authorities we have a zero tolerance rule in regards to illegal drugs and to any unwanted harassment, sexual or otherwise. Violation may result in expulsion form the event. Firearms are not permitted on the campgrounds.
