Put all past hurts to rest, and free yourself from the burdens of lessons hard won. Build an ancestral altar, and tell the stories of your family’s deeds. Rituals and Events

Opening Ritual ?(drum circle) Join us for opening ritual, and help to create a sacred space within which we can worship, play, love and learn upon The Hill at Red Horse Stables.

Trading Blanket Ritual ?Sun Crow ?(Vendor’s Row) - Rules for the Trading Blanket

1. WE MUST HAVE LOTS OF FUN!!!! EVERYONE IS WELCOME!! THE MORE THE MERRIER !!

2, Nothing that is illegal may be traded - raptor feathers, bear parts, drugs and such.

3. Anything else may be traded. So bring goodies to trade - books, clothing, garb, pottery, jewelry, etc.

4. Everyone mus be at least 16 to trade and 18 to trade for blades or knives (considered weapons) unless their parents give permission to trade for such.

5. No talking is allowed (well usually there's allot of whispering and snickering going on)

6. I doesn't matter what the item is worth. It is the excitement of the trade that counts.

Here's how it goes:

There will be a blanket placed in the center of the circle. Everyone sits in a circle with their items for trade in front of them on their blankets. We start with a person to put something on the center blanket to trade. They walk around and find something that they want to trade for and place it on the blanket. If the person that had something taken is agreeable to the trade then it is done. If not they might want a "sweetener" to finalize the trade. They shake hands and say "Good trade". Then it is to the next person clockwise.

You never know what kind of "loot" that you may get to go home with! That's where the mystery and fun is. You never know what items are coming to the trading blanket.

Leadership Tea ?Bella ?(Kitchen) If you’re leading in the pagan community, come on down and network. We all gain from pooling our resources and enriching the web. There are so many opportunities for us today and so many obstacles we still face. Working together makes the load lighter.

Dinner on the Town Green ?(Vendor’s Row, in front of stage) Eating together is a sacred ritual that bonds us as family. Every evening at 6:00 pm, bring your dinner down to the stage, and join your community for a short bit of announcements followed by the evening’s entertainment. Larry Tracy is putting together an amazing mix of bands, comedians, fire spinning, and hopefully dancing. If you are a performer of any kind, we want to put you on stage. Contact Dusty for details.

Drum Circle Ritual ?(Drum Circle) Let the flames fly into the Fall night air, as we dance and drum late into the night. Bring offerings of fruit, tobacco, coffee, and alcoholic beverages to leave at the altar of Shango, God of the Fire Circle, and to share with each other. Drummers gather together between the pirate flags to join your drums in a unified beat. Dancers, bring veils, zills, and all things jingly, to entice the drummers and spin the energy of our hearts together as one. Remember, no butts in the fire, both cigarettes and the one that follows you around.

Pipe Ceremony - SunCrow ?(Main Ritual Circle) The Pipe Ceremony is a sacred ceremony and is treated as such.It is the most important spiritual tool to the Native American. This is going to be a teaching session on the pipe ceremony as we do the ceremony. Everyone should be in whatever ceremonial garb that they wear for ceremony. Preferably women should have on skirts or dresses. If they didn't bring one that's OK. Bring a blanket as we will be sitting on the ground. If anyone has a pipe, they are welcome to bring it to circle with their Mishma or Kinnick Kinnick. If they don't have any, I will have a little extra to share. I will also have Mishma available at my tent for purchase for those who want more.

I will cover information about the pipe itself as well as the ceremony and how it is conducted and its purpose. ALL ARE WELCOME.

I am a pipe carrier through the lineage of the Crow Dog family of Lakota on the Rose Bud reservation in South Dakota. My elder is Grandmother Jane Singing Tree who is now 76.

Séance (WISE Sophomores Only) ?Lady Vivianne of Darkwood ?Speak with your departed loved ones

***Remember ?As always, Georgia Pagan Gatherings are drug free festivals. Know, that if the police come to the festival, they will be allowed on the land. If you are found with drugs, I can’t do anything to help you. PLEASE play it safe, and don’t bring anything illegal to the festival.
