Asheville's 12th Annual Free Public Witch RitualEvent Details: Circle beneath the stars with myriad Southeast Pagans, Witches and townsfolk on 4 acres of private land at our beloved, family-friendly religious rite!
This year's theme is: Creatures of the Night
Suggested costumes: Witches, Dark Fairies, and Nocturnal animals. Be daring and creative!
This year's Rite features: A long maze trance dance to tribal music, a costume contest (win magical prizes!) , a frenetic finale Spiral Dance, Poi fire-spinning & bellydancing on the stage, harp music 'round the balefires, and the many surprises you've come to expect!
Parents -- Drop off your wee ones 3 & up in the Pavilion’s Rugratz Realm, where they’ll be entertained with “Bat bowling�? Candy Corn Relay races, Pumpkin Ring Toss, Guess "How Many?", and other traditional autumn games!

Event Location: Unity Center 2041 Old Fanning Bride Road in Fletcher (A'ville suburb)
Event TIME Details: Tuesday, 8 PM, Samhain (Halloween) '06
Directions: From I-26 (Asheville, Arden, Hendersonville, Greenville) :
* Take I-26 to Exit 40 ("Airport, Arden") ; turn West (toward the airport) on Airport Road.
* Go 1.5 mile, PAST the airport parking lots & runways and the Broadmoor golf course, turn Right onto Old Fanning Bridge Road (past the arena and fairgrounds) (Small sign: "Welcome to Henderson County" and large green sign: "Mountain Horticultural Crops Research Center") .
* Go 2 miles, across the river, past the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research Center. Unity Center will be on your Left (1/2 mile before the intersection with Route 191) .
