THEE SOUNDTRACK: "Long Time Gone" by Dixie Chicks

Outside of their local venues, legions of loyal WGEF fans were lining up. Not to finish up stocking on their Superbowl party supplies, but to purchase those elusive Whatever It Takes pay-per-view tickets. What was a better gift than tickets to one of the biggest wrestling events of the winter? Nothing, ladies and gentlemen, nothing. It would be a wrestling fan's dream come true to be able to have a good seat at one of those shows. Sadly for some, it was only a dream. However, good things do happen to good people, occasionally. Thus, is the tale of this incredible story. Through the long, noisy line of crazed fanatical fans of all ages and sizes, there stepped into the scene a familiar figure. While it was familiar, of course, it still didn't strike a chord with the crowd. It was denial at its best. But, once the figure stepped into the warm sunlight, which came as a blessing to the freezing people in waiting, their suspicions were confirmed. Cheers erupted, and random yells of approval invaded the air as a smile stretched across the face of the tan North Carolina native. Behind a pair of black sunglasses, a black leather jacket, and cascades of stringy, auburn-colored hair, that Southern swagger -- it all added together. Teal Moore.

There was no roof on the sidewalk, naturally, but if there was, it certainly would have been ripped off. It was almost a sense of relief seeing her, to some fans. There hasn't been a woman like her that's ever reached out to the fans and those of the 'real' world like she has before, and they missed that brush of reality and that refreshing gust of air on the glimmering, shining world of glamorous starlets and divas. The prissy, prim, proper, bleach blonde beauty queens of the world couldn't hold a candle to the jean-clad, Skoal-ring-wearing, Monster Truck-loving Redneck Doll. The fan favorite of all of sports entertainment is back. . .or so it seems. Upon that smiling face, the sunglasses were removed and folded, hung on the pocket of her faded, ripped-up ol' blue jeans. The fans chanted her name and swarmed over to her as security tried to block them from her. Their efforts were trivial. They surrounded her and smothered her in hugs, high-fives, and random shouts of praise and support. All smiles, the Southern Sensation seemed to just soak it all in and live it up, gratefully, at that.

She hadn't been on the scene in almost a year, and hadn't been actively competing for almost two years. Her last endevear ended quickly when she decided to take a break to tend to her family in Texas, which needed all the care they could get. Of course, then, she had two tiny newborns, a moody teenage daughter, and a husband that just wanted her around all the time as most men did with their beloved women. However, things were much different now. Her eldest daughter was getting used to her new school and fitting in, her new twins were maturing and nearing their first birthday, and unfortunately, her husband was no longer there. They'd simply grown apart, with the stress of two tiny children, a growing, grumpy family, the mass-producing farm they owned, and whatnot. It all became too much for them. Thankfully, it was an amicable split, as some would call it. It did not end in a mean, messy divorce. They still remain friends and confidants to this day. Still, there's something missing in Teal Moore's life. She hasn't wrestled in so long. Ever since she was a little girl, she'd dreamed of being a professional wrestler. She believed their was nothing better. Was it time to return?

At this time, people had pulled out their cameras, and one of WGEF's cameramen had run over to get in on the action. It wasn't everyday that one of the biggest female stars in professional wrestling inserted herself into their line, so-to-speak, and just randomly show up to entertain their fans. After some pushing and pulling, the security had managed to form a decent circle around the rough n' rowdy young twenty-something. She stood there in the center of the cheering and yells with her hands on her hips, a wide grin is displayed. Suddenly, she raised her arms, asking for some silence from the fans. All of the attention had pretty much been turned to Teal Moore, rather than those vending the tickets. The fans quieted down and Teal spoke up, yelling out to everyone as the cameras caught all the action.

TEAL MOORE: "Well, now. [sighs and smiles] How the hell are ya? [fans cheer and scream] Good, I reckon, or it sure sounds like ya are! Wow, it's great to hear that again. It's been so long since I heard those cheers and those yells, damn, that's the best friggin' music in the world right there, folks! [fans pop] Well, I bet y'all are wonderin' why the heck that Teal Moore girl is doin' barging into WGEF's ticket sale and actin' like she's all that an' a bag o' chips, right? [fans pop] Well, m'dears, I must say I ain't got a good reason. Really, I don't. I just sorta felt like it. I felt like comin' out here and tellin' y'all a little secret. Would ya like to hear it? [fans pop and clap] I don't think ya do, I can't hear ya. [fans cheer even louder as she nods] Well, then, I'll tell ya. Butcha better keep it under your hat, ya see? Aw, hell, who am I kiddin'? Tell everyone! Tell your neighbors, your sister, your Aunt Patsy from South Dakota! [fans laugh] Anyways, listen up, my friends. Teal Moore. . .is coming back. . .to the wrestlin' world! [fans scream] And she's comin' to the World's Greatest eFederation! [fans cheer louder] Hell yeah, people, and I guarantee, you all will be seein' me kickin' around the arena, I'll be payin' close attention, mind ya, to those matches involving a little something called. . .oh, gee, I dunno. . .that thing called the Women's Championship! [fans pop] Damn right! This world's been without the Southern Sensation for too long! Just look at what's infectin' the WGEF! All these stuffy blondes with corn cobs up their asses and attitude worse than Kanye West's performance on Saturday Night Live! Thank the good Lord for those few gals, like Jeanie Salazar, that can kick ass! [fans snicker] It's ridiculous. 'Oh, look at me, I'm a sexy chick with a bitchy gimmick and I enjoy polishing my nails and twirling my hair between my fingers when I get sad!' Whoop-di-friggin'-do! Well, hello, my name is Teal Moore, and I enjoy the finer things in life. [counts them on her fingers] Goin' muddin', goin' to the bar on Friday night, and goin' upside the head of all these useless, overrated simpletons on the Divas' roster! [fans pop] Now don't all that sound fine? [fans cheer] Hell yeah, it does! And starting this week, a whole lot of changes are goin' down. It's a new year, my friends, and I am gonna shake it up, big time. It's time the WGEF gets a taste of what a real woman wrestler is like! I'm comin' to your city, folks! [smiles wide] It's time for the WGEF era of the Real TEAL Deal!"

With that, Teal ran through the human barrier of security guards and into the sea of cheering fans. They embrace her and then raise her high into the air, surfing her along the tops of them and their hands. The scene fades out on the WGEF exclusive of Teal tauntng to the camera at the beginning of the ticket line, tangled in the arms of the fans. After awhile, she bid them all farewell, entering the arena, just soaking it all in.

MOONLIGHT SERENADE
Don't steal. Don't touch. Don't hate. Mmkay?

It was a little while longer after Teal crowd surfed as we caught glimpse of Drew Stevenson standing there with his massive arms folded across his huge chest. He sported his casual Emerald Pride clothing attire as he unfolded his arms and then started walking off down the hall heading somewhere. The cameras followed as he took a right down the next corridor as he stood there like a tower where Teal was backing up not completely paying attention as she bumped into him and spun around quickly as he just flashed nothing but a huge grin before wrapping his arms around her tiny waist and hoisting her up with ease where he spun her around a bit before putting her down and speaking to her.

‘’My, isn’t this a blast from the past?’�?/FONT>

Teal nodded her head as Drew continued.

‘’Let me tell you, you look great Teal. It has been awhile but it is my pleasure to welcome you here to the WGEF and back to the industry that you helped build.’�?BR>
The fans at ringside exploded into cheers.

‘’There is so much to catch up on, you free tonight?’�?BR>
He stood there towering over her as he had gotten much bigger since they started dating back in OCW. He patiently waited for her response, with a smile on his face as he was just glad to see her back.

Seven had rolled around as Drew was getting ready for his time with the very lovely Teal, he had his hair fixed, everything was in place as he sported a black tank top which revealed all of his tattoo’s in which he didn’t have before when they were together. As he put on some cologne, he heard a slight knock at the door as he walked over there and opened it up to see Teal looking absolutely stunning, as usual. Drew gazed her up then down as he spoke out.

‘’You look amazing Teal, please come in.’�?/FONT>

Teal entered as Drew shut the door behind her. He then gently placed his hand on the center of her back guiding her to the couch area where she took a seat and he sat right next to her, looking deep within her eyes, he always had these strong feelings for her but he flashed a smile and then asked Teal a question.

‘’So, what have you been up to Teal?’�?/FONT>

Drew sat there staring deep within her eyes; he swallowed hard trying to fight his feelings for her still as he waited for her response.

Drew sat upright as he looked at Teal and smiled; he then answered her question.

‘’Where to begin? I have been competing this entire time as you already knew I’m sure. I ended up becoming a BUD multiple time Heavyweight Champion, a BUD legend inductee this past year and also a PWT Walk of Famer along with capturing several main straps along the way. Life has been pretty good overall, I can’t complain but my life is getting better now that you are back in it Teal.’�?BR>
Teal blushed as Drew inched a bit closer to her getting more comfortable, he then continued.

‘’So, if you are up for it, would you like to go to dinner and get out of this cramped arena for awhile?’�?BR>
He gave her a very gentle look because he just wanted to treat her to dinner, like they did back in the olden days. He sat there calmly, you could tell that he was kind of nervous but he tried hiding it while waiting for her answer.

A soft smile fell upon his face as he nodded and spoke to her, definitely glad that she had accepted his offer to go out for a bit.

‘’Sure thing.’�?BR>
Drew then got up to his feet as Teal slipped her coat on. He opened the door up for her as they exited the dressing room and walked through the hall heading out to the parking lot. Upon getting out there, there stood Drew’s butler holding the limo door open as they both entered the black limousine and Drew spoke out to his butler Jeeves.

‘’Thank you Jeeves.’�?BR>
Jeeves nodded and shut the door as Drew sat there next to the ever so beautiful Teal. He smiled at her and went to say something but Jeeves had cut in interrupting him but not intentionally.

‘’Where to Sir?’�?/FONT>

Drew looked into Teal’s beautiful eyes; he then asked her where she wanted to go.

‘’Where would you like to go eat Teal?’�?/FONT>

He sat there patiently waiting her answer; he was in no hurry, he was just glad to be with Teal once again.
