The time had finally come. For weeks now, Phoenix had been saying that the only thing that was holding her back from becoming Women's Champion was time. But now it was just a matter of time. With her now being placed into the Women's Title match against Paris Jior, the time was only a few days away. She had truly been working pretty hard lately to get into this very match and finally it was going to happen. When she looked back at all the work she had done over the past few weeks, she was perfectly fine with it. She was getting a shot now, so it was definitely worth it. Now it was time to face Paris Jior for the third time in a matter of of two weeks. Now though Phoenix had a problem facing the same person over and over, she did not much think about it now. The only thing on her mind now was the championship. She loved holding titles, she could not deny that. She had not held a title in quite some time, six months ot be exact. The only reason she was not holding the title now was due to the fact that the company she was in was not around right now. So again, she had to be stripped of a title. In her career, Phoenix had only lost one of the many titles that she has held in her illustrious career. Had she really took the match seriously as she should have, she would not have lost that one either. The others came due to companies closed. Her Undisputed and Intercontinental Titles were stripped because no one could beat her for either of them. Then to add insult to injury there, a rule was made so that she never would have a chance to reclaim those titles. Either way, she was the first and only woman to hold those titles, so the mark was very left in that company. So taking that all into consideration, it was no doubt that this was a familiar occasion for Phoenix. She had been in this position several times before. Although one would think the feeling would be the same each time, it actually was not. It felt like an entirely new experience, in a sense. Although this was the...umpteenth title that she could possibly be winning, it always felt like going back to her first time. But we still had to remember that the opponent was someone that Phoenix had made quite an enemy out of as of late. It was no doubt that Paris just could not stand Phoenix's very existence at this point. Phoenix did not really care. She had not really come to make friends, especially with someone who is in the title hunt just as she is.

x~. Wednesday, February 11, 2009 - Basement

Phoenix had awaken early this particular Wednesday morning in order to make sure she had time to get everything done that she had on her agenda. It would all begin with a training session downstairs in her basement. She had a ring put there as well as a completely equip workout room. Anything she needed to aid with her training, she had it in her basement. It eliminated her having to share a room with others. She as not claustrophobic or anything, but she was very fond of her privacy. It eased her mind as well not having to be distracted by anything that could possibly happen within an arena's training room. Currently, she was running on her treadmill and had worked up quite a sweat. She was nearing her second mile on here and still had a total of three to go. She had her headphones on and was listening to her iPod Touch that she had gotten a few months back. She was half singing the songs that were on their and half talking to herself about the match.

Phoenix Here you are again Phoenix...back at square one. This is familiar territory to you. You have stomped these very same grounds before. It is your time to reclaim your spot at the top of the mountain. You have to reclaim your throne.

Phoenix went back to singing as she jogged along making to sure to put in every bit of energy she had into the run. She wanted the results to be as best as possible, so she had to put in as much work as possible. It was the very same way she handled everything else. She worked hard and the best results would always come. So now she had to work hard for Sunday in order to leave there with the championship.

Phoenix You can beat this girl. You have done it twice already...what is a third time? You have her number. At the same time, you cannot underestimate her. The prize is a lot richer this time than just a win.

Phoenix started running with more intensity now as she told herself that. She was pushing herself. This intense physical training just pumped her even more mentally just as much as it did physically. The whole concept was to push herself to make sure that she won. Failing was never an option. She was a natural born winner and she was bred to be the best at anything that she did. If you were not working to be the best, what was the point of working at all? That was a question that a lot of people needed to ask themselves. When Phoenix got to her last mile, she pushed it on out and then slowed it down to a walk after the mile was complete. She had to make sure her body settled back down before she just walked off. Otherwise, it could cause a heart attack and then Sunday would be the least of her problems. As she was during her "cool down" as it was often referred to, Dimitri came walking down the stairs. He could see that she had on her headphones so he did not bother calling her. He just tapped her on the shoulder and she turned around still walking.

Phoenix Oh hi honey.

Dimitri Hey little red.

She leaned back giving him a quick kiss. We will not add in the part that she almost fell, but hey, happens to the best of them. She turned off the machine and grabbed a towel that she hung on the arm bar. She wiped a bit of sweat from her face before hanging the towel around her neck. Dimitri looked at her.

Dimitri You know...you look mighty sexy with sweat glistening off you like that.

She grinned.

Phoenix When do you not think I am sexy?

Dimitri Um....well.....let me see.........there is uh.....hmm....

Phoenix Take your time...

He scratched his head.

Dimitri I guess never. But the glistening is like extra hot. Plus knowing that you have been working out and all...kinda adds to the effect.

She punched his arm. It did not really hurt but he acted as if it did.

Dimitri Ouch. See...all that working out has paid off.

Phoenix Yeah right.

He wrapped her up for a hug and held her close to him.

Dimitri So what does my little hot baby have planned for today?

Phoenix Well this workout was the first thing on the agenda. I got to shower and then Ellen is going to send her camera crew out for me to do something for her show. Then I will be doing the recording for her show. Other than that, I think I am free.

Dimitri Sounds like a lot...but I am sure it is nothing for you.

Phoenix Yeah you get used to it after a while. Sooo...how about joining me for that shower.

She winked at him. Of course he was not going to decline the offer. She had definitely corrupted her poor fianc
é, but he was not complaining and neither was she. They upstairs and had that shower. Of course, showering was not the only thing that went on there, but this was not the time or place for details.

x~. Wednesday, February 11, 2009 - Ellen DeGeneres Show

Phoenix was taken over to the Ellen show shortly after her shower and the video package was wrapped up. The show was taped in the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California, so it was not all that far away for her to travel. Once she arrived there, she was taken into the back and into her special locker room as she was the special guest. Dimitri had come in with her as requested.

Dimitri You ready?

Phoenix rubbed her hands over her blue dress that she had decided to wear. Blue was his favorite color so that aided in the decision. She nodded while taking a deep breath.

Phoenix I believe so.

A knock came at the door and one of the crew members stuck his head in the room.

Crew Member Five minutes Miss Phoenix.

Phoenix Okay, thanks.

He closed the door and Phoenix got up making sure that her makeup was done perfectly and all of that. She took a sip of the water that she was provided and took one more deep breath.

Phoenix I am ready.

Dimitri took her hand and they walked out of the room and up the hallway. The backstage crew directed them to where they were supposed to go. They got all the way to just where you walked out to the stage. From where they were standing, there was a little monitor so you could see and even hear what was going on. This definitely helped to make sure she went out at the right time. She patiently waited for her time to go out. Ellen was currently drawing her upcoming guest, although Phoenix actually did not know this.

Ellen Okay, now you guys know by now that my drawing is not exactly "Picasso," but as usual I am drawing you guys a picture. At the end of the show, each of you will receive a large copy of the drawing. How does that sound?

The crowd cheered in approval. After she was done drawing, she held up her picture looking at it.

Ellen The person that I drew for you all today is none other than my guest of the day, she is a multiple time champion known all around the world. Please help me welcome WGEF's own, Phoenix!

Ellen turned the picture around just as she said the name and the crowd applauded, not only for the picture but to also welcome out Phoenix. "World To Burn" by Revelation Theory hit over the speakers in the studio as Phoenix and Dimitri came walking out from backstage and over to the stage where Ellen was standing. Ellen hugged Phoenix and handed her the picture of herself. Phoenix laughed...although it was funny, it was also a pretty decent picture. Dimitri shook Ellen's hand as he sat down beside Phoenix. Ellen then took her seat across from them.

Ellen Well, first of all I would like to welcome you to the show Phoenix. I have only been trying to get you here for years now!

Ellen laughed thinking of the difficulty it was to catch up with Phoenix. Every time she had tried to get her previously, she had prior engagements. She had a somewhat relaxed week this week since there would be no Friday night Fight Night.

Phoenix I have been a busy girl.

Ellen Who are you telling? I am actually a big fan of not only the sport, but yourself specifically. I have sure seen a heck of a lot of you lately. I guess my letter actually reached the higher authorities like I planned.

Ellen laughed again.

Ellen No, no..that was not me. That is another Ellen. But now Phoenix, who is this that you brought along with you?

Phoenix looked over at Dimitri holding his hands in hers.

Phoenix This is my fiancé, Dimitri Adams. He is a District Attorney in Anaheim.

Ellen's mouth dropped.

Ellen I have been a fan for quite some time now and I have never known you to be too involved...aside from the very early days of your career.

Phoenix I have had a few dealings...just a few. I hate going from person to person. He happened to catch my eye at a bar one night and things just went from there. Now I am engaged.

Phoenix flashes her ring on her finger.

Ellen Wow. Did you ever think that you would be getting married again?

Phoenix Actually, no. I was pretty content by myself. But like, you get into these relationships backstage because you see these people so much. I actually was involved with another wrestler for a short while, and was rumored to had gone back to my ex-husband, but then I decided to go outside of the business. The mindset of male wrestlers just is not relationship oriented. They are so used to having managers and valets, and it is almost like you live that way daily. You are like a big piece of eye candy instead of actually a girlfriend, fiancée, or wife, whatever the case may be. So I decided to find someone that I figured could really appreciate being in a relationship with me.

Ellen So is it safe to say that Phoenix actually has a soft side?

Phoenix Well....

Phoenix could not help but laugh. She might have even blushed a bit.

Phoenix Phoenix is really an angel at heart. People just perceive her the wrong way. Plus they see me on television and I have no choice but to be mean then. I take what I do very seriously, and so that "attitude" somewhat comes with it.

Ellen Well speaking of the business, you have been in this business, what, about four years now?

Phoenix Yeah, almost.

Ellen I think the thing that amazes everyone is that you have done so much in such a short time. There is people that have been in the business four and five times as long as you and have not done what you have done. You are a multiple time Women's Champion, a former Intercontinental Champion, a former Undisputed Champion, and I understand you have held two and three belts at time. I also understand that you have worked in more than one company at a time while holding these belts?

Phoenix That is all very true.

Ellen Yeah I have kept up with you. And see, talk is really cheap these days. I mean really, people hardly believe anything that they are told anymore, so I decided to send my crew out to your house. Can we run the tape.

x~. The Tape

The cameras at the show zoom in on the screen where the scene opens in the front of Phoenix's enormous house. They get through the gates and go up to the front door where Phoenix answers for them. She welcomes them in and shows them to where they want to go..her "trophy" case. It was really a belt case, but in this business, this was the equivalent of a trophy. The camera gets a quick scan of all the belts that hang in a beautiful glass case. In walks Phoenix and the camera pans out some. To the surprise of everyone there, Ellen pops up waving. She was quite the comedian when she wanted to be, so of course her audience would find that amusing.

Ellen Good evening my people. Prior to the show today, I decided to have my crew and I stop by this luxurious pad and check out some things for evidence. Now as you have just seen, this very case behind me contains about as much gold as Fort Knox. So we will allow Phoenix to give brief summary of these titles just so we understand a bit better.

Ellen pointed to the one at the top. It was her Undisputed Title she had won.

Phoenix Well this here is the Undisputed Title I won back during my XCWA time. When I first arrived there, they had a sign up spot for an Intercontinental Title tournament. At that point in my career, I wanted to try new things. I wanted to see if I could hang with the guys. So, that is what I did. I won the title and it was about as normal to me as taking on the women. So just as they do now, people hated the way I went about saying things. The champion at the time got mad because I was calling him a worthless champion. He was never defending his title. So he got bold and decided he would challenge me since I had so much to say about him. He even wanted to test his luck by putting his title on the line. I believe the title there speaks for itself. I made history of becoming the first woman to be the XCWA Undisputed Champion and the only to do so as well. I held this title about five or six months before it was stripped.

Ellen nodded. They moved over to the next title that was positioned right beside this one since they belonged to the same company.

Phoenix That is the XCWA Intercontinental Title. As I just explained, I signed up for a title tournament. The first match was a Triple Threat match against two other women, strangely a 3 Stages of Hell match at that. I moved all the way to the pay per view where it was another Triple Threat, this time with two men...and well....I guess we can figure out who won that match. I held this title about nine or ten months before I was stripped.

Phoenix moved on to the title below those two.

Phoenix This title is actually the first ever title that I won, the XWL Women's Title. This is one title that I was shocked to win. I only held this title for a few weeks. That was back when I was young and did not take things very seriously. But the thing about it, I did not even get pinned for the title. Someone else lost my title for me in a Fatal Four Way match, so I guess it is not as bad. Either way, I won the title, so yeah.

Phoenix moved on to the next one.

Phoenix This one came from a company that kept begging me and begging me to sign with them. I signed with them and immediately beat the champion for her title. So I became the PW-NEO Women's Champion. The place did not have a healthy enough roster to continue on, but I was never beaten for this title either.

Phoenix moved down to the next two were placed beside each other like the two from before.

Phoenix Ah, another one of my favorites. This here is the WWW Queen Bytch title. I held this title six months, even through the company merging in with another. But due to that company closing, I no longer am champion. But I could not be beaten for this title either. Then this one beside it was a newer version of the title that I received when I moved into the merged company.

Phoenix moved on down to where two more were placed beside each other.

Phoenix These two were great too. This first one is the RWS Women's Revolutionary Title. It is a title that had to be defended weekly. I got probably one of the most personal feuds of my career out of this one with Kyra Heroin. She was very similar to my opponent from Sunday. I beat her two matches straight, the first to get the title to begin with. Then I went on to win this title while still holding the other. The Vixen Championship got added in and I was the first and only person to hold it. I beat the very same Kyra Heroin to win that title as well. The third time was not the charm for her. This is one of those times I was holding three titles at once, two in RWS, and one in WWW/Warzone.

The scene faded out with one last shot of all the titles compiled there together.

x~. Back To The Show

When the cameras came back...the fans were clapping as Phoenix just smiled and nodded.

Ellen Quite a collection there right? It is no secret that this is no new thing for you. Now you are set to try to add yet another to that collection this Sunday. I understand you are going against....

Ellen looked down at her cards.

Ellen ...Paris Jior for the WGEF Women's Title.

Phoenix Yes...Phoenix tries to add yet another title to that beautiful collection there.

Ellen And you two ladies have fought twice before now, correct?

Phoenix That is correct Ellen. We faced twice last week.

Ellen You won both, am I right?

Phoenix Correct again.

Ellen And now you two have quite the rivalry going on?

Phoenix Yes...but I believe that is just because she is frustrated. I believe she thinks I have a personal problem with her, but I really do not. At the end of the day, this is all business to me. She was just another opponent in my eyes, but she seemed to be offended or something by what I had to say. My ego was too large for her I suppose, but I do not see how something like that should bother her. I was talking about myself. Only thing I can say I really said bad about her to start off was about her boyfriend. But I mean, I call it like I see it. Truth be told though, I actually respect the girl. As I tell all of my opponents, I try to do at least a little research on them before getting into the ring with them. That is a very important aspect of the business. You cannot just go into a match clueless. That is like going into a dark alley thinking you are ready for whatever jumps out at you. You have to be prepared. She was undefeated before facing me, and that definitely is impressive. With the talent that they have in WGEF, from the women's division at least, it is not an easy thing to be undefeated.

Ellen So do you expect this to be a walk through the park considering you have already beat her twice?

Phoenix Honestly, no. This should be a really good match. I am not going to underestimate her because I know she is going to fight a lot harder than she did in our first two matches. There is a lot more on the line this time around. So I expect she will give her all for this one. With the title being "Whatever It Takes," I can bet she will do whatever it takes to not only win that title, but also get a victory over me that would be bigger than both of mine over her. However, I am very prepared to stop her from doing so. I want the title just as much as she does. Of course, to show her that I am not as obsessed with winning as she believes, I will live if I did not win Sunday. But do not mistake for a second that I am giving up. That by no circumstances mean that I will bring anything less than what I already have prepared for her. It is just to let her know that it is not the end of the world for me. But this will be the end of the MSN era of wrestling, and I have been telling myself for months now that I wanted to go out with a bang. It is the very reason why I even returned at the point that I did. Sitting at home, I could not make a bang. I decided to go somewhere big and do something big. What better way than by going out with a title?

Ellen nodded.

Ellen Yes I imagine that would make quite the statement.

Phoenix Yeah I plan to take us on into the Aimoo era with the Women's Championship around my waist. I have been without gold for too long and I am ready to have it back around my waist. Now make no mistake about it...I consider myself a champion anyway. Those titles that you saw in that case are just pieces of gold attached to a leather strap. It takes the ability that I have to have won all of those. My ability does not change up when it is a championship match. I am the same year round. Therefore, I consider myself an uncrowned champion regardless. But the gold just makes it look even better.

Ellen Well Phoenix, we have to wrap it up here. Do you have any last words for the people out here or Paris even?

Phoenix To the people, I would suggest that they order this pay per view. This will be the last WGEF show to broadcast on MTV and everyone is going to give their all. I know with this being Phoenix's last match, I am giving every bit of me in this match. To Paris, I just want to tell her to be prepared. Forget about what happened in the prior two matches. It is all about what happens Sunday. Let us put on a show that these people will not soon forget...if ever.

Ellen Thank you for joining us here today Phoenix...that is all the time we have for you....be sure to watch that match...I know I will!

Phoenix stood up along with Ellen and hugged her again. Dimitri had been sitting there quietly just listening. He knew how focused Phoenix was and he was definitely one of the many anticipating the match. The last match on the MSN circuit, that was big in itself. Since the title was on the line, that just made it so much larger.

OOC Statement: Ok, here is number one. I figured I better get it in while I was free for a second. Good luck to my opponent and everyone else involved. Let's make this the best pay per view ever. Enjoy the r/p
