Shawn is seen backstage a few days  after his talk with batista. still not knowing what dave had in mind. he was stopped yet again this time by katrina parker. shawn gave a smile knowing she was going to talk him and ask questions. shawn looks on as she begins to speak  Kat: ladies and gentlemen standing before me the heartbreak kid shawn michaels shawn tonight you step in the ring with dave batista any thoughts about that Shawn: well kat me and dave are no strangers to the ring. we have had our fights and i am able to stand here and say that i have won a good amount more of them then he did. but that was then and this is now you see dave comes off a pretty big loss at civil war and i know dave hes not happy he loss and hes going to take that anger against me. or should i say try. you see dave thinks he can beat me but i just want to remind you a few things dave. first off the only time you beat me when we fought you had evolution help you. all but once. when you fought me in that stretcher match not too long ago you clearly won the match and for that i give you kudos. but trust me i have learned from our fight then and will use it tonight to face you Kat: well shawn he said you were rude to him when he wished you luck a few days ago. lets have a look. the cameras show dave and shawn meeting a feel days ago  showing everything dave and shawn said to one another. then goes back to katrina. Kat: care to comment on that Shawn: it wasn't rude at all what i mainly told dave there is that i wasn't going to lay down and that i still had some tricks up my sleeve. that there was a reason they call me the icon the showstopper the heartbreak kid. it was mainly letting him know that i would be ready to fight him Kat: ok but you said you could fight him easily care to say why u told him that Shawn:its simple really katrina. i told him i could take him easily because when you talk to a guy who wants to kick your ass a guy who you know is stronger then you you never and let me say never tell him or let him see that your worried about fighting that guy. i learned that from kevin nash and stone cold steve austin early on in my career and keep it in my head. can batista beat me. probaly so. he has the power to do so. he has the guts to do so but the one thing he doesn't have is the speed to do so he doesn't have the exp. i have in this ring. i mean hell i have been doing this for 20 plus years katrina you think i would know what i am doing after  20 years don't you think? Kat: well yes i guess your right shawn so with that being said anything else you wanna add to dave before your match Shawn: you know there is something i want to add to big dave katrina. but i think i want to address it to him in the ring and not here. no offense.. shawn smiles and she smiles back and they both walk their seprate ways. shawn walks towards the ring apron when he hears sexy boy playing. he walks out and dances for the fans getting down on both kness he lifts his hands up and the fireworks go off. he gets done standing back up  walking down the rest of the ramp before climbing the stairs and getting into the ring. he takes the mic from the ring girl and places it to his lips waiting for the fans to cool down  Shawn:you know first off thanks for the welcome. i man it you guys sure do know how to welcome a guy  but i'm out hee tonigt to address a man you guys know well. dave batista. dave i saw what you had to say and i know your pissed off what i said to you but sometimes thats how it goes. sometimes the big guy has to be pissed at the lil guy for them to have a good fight. i know you can beat me in this ring i do but i'm not going to  come down here and go oh my god its batista i have no chance to win i may as well forfeit the match to you. i told every a chancge was coming to this company and i'm not talking about moving to a new network i'm talk about great matches great rivalry and great entertainment for the fans. iand it starts tonight dave. me and you will put on a classic of a fight and its one i'm looking forard to. i think after tonight the world will see that HBK still has it. vince may not think so and released me but i know that trish is a smart girl and made the right choice in bring HBK over here. so with that said dave do you think you can take it to the showstopper the icon mr wrstlemainia. if you want to come down here and say to my face what you did to these people then please be my guest and bring it.
