Still I stand...

Yeah that was pretty much the simplest way to sum up Phoenix's progress thus far in WGEF...and no...not the guy who seemed to not be able to pick up a win other than in a tag match. No no, we were referring to th eone that has been kicking a lot of ass and taking a lot of names for many years now. It seemed that no matter where this talented young woman went, success always seemed to follow her. It was always the same thing with her. She came into companies as the newcomer. Quite naturally, people were going to believe that she was a whole lot of talk and probably just as much hype. She was your typical "I am better than you" type of person. She stepped on several toes when getting her point across on different issues so it was pretty safe to say that she was not the most liked person. Then eventually, the wins would start piling on an dpeople would start taking notice to her. Now what she did the week prior to the current one was completely out of the normal for her. She never really had to go out and tell people about her in order for them to take notice, but things were done a bit different here. Here they had owners who had no problem going out and completely belittling their entire roster. Now of course, that did not make for very good business, but hey, to each their own. Phoenix felt like she had already been overlooked. Now to clear things up, she was not looking for any sort of praise recognition. At the same time, she was not looking to be looked over either. She felt that she had showed much promise in her debut match against the guy who happened to be the number one contender for the WGEF Championship. Now she had no clue who the hell Destiny was, but she beat her too. She was showing for the matches that she was being given and was giving management no problems at all. It was pretty safe to say that she was pretty consistent. But it seemed management obviously was not paying enough attention because the only person they saw worthy for the title right now was the person who had it. So therefore, Phoenix had to just throw her name into the picture just to put management on notice that there is someone on the roster that can really bring it when the time is called. Now that she had that part established, she was ready to go back to showing them. Now it was time to pick up where she left off, and she would do so in a match with some Paris Jior chick.

x~. Another Fallen Star

So, WGEF was going to feed another star to Phoenix. She was perfectly fine with that. It was only gonig to make these victories that much sweeter. Instead of just beating people on the rosters, she was beating the biggest stars on the roster. That was going to say a lot really soon and that was exactly what she was aiming for. It definitely was a plus considering that everyone was attempting to step their game up now that Kaylee and Trish were pretty much demanding it. But Phoenix was not really concerned with their demands. They were a bit late with their demands because Phoenix already had her game up. It was now really just a matter of everyone else trying to play catch up. Paris Jior was one of those very people who would have to do so, especially considering that she was in a match with Phoenix now. But truth be told, it was not going to happen. Why? Phoenix was truthfully on an entirely different level than Paris. Kudos to her for whatever she had done thus far. All of that was fine and nice and would probably mean a whole lot to somebody else that cared. But to Phoenix, that just meant that her "matter of time" had run out. Besides, this girl was dating Temper, what much could she really do in the ring with someone like Phoenix?

x~. The Death Of An Era

Everyone knew that the few days left on the MSN circuit were running thin at a very fast rate. But truth be told, the wonderful era of MSN wrestling had declined long before it reached the point of soon being closed. It was your people like Chris Orton, SVD, and then people like Temper that killed such a wonderful era. The saying birds of a feather flock together held very true in this situation. Paris was linked with Temper so Phoenix could only imagine that she was part of the downfall as well. Who told these people that they had talent? Who told them that they could really even defend themselves, let alone wrestle in someone's ring? These people are horrible with every vowel and consonant of the word. They come out and do their basic run of the mill promos day in and day out. Notice there is no week in and week out there. Why? You see these damn people daily. But the kicker is when they get into their promos for their matches. Take SVD this week for example. This damn idiot decides he is going to make a sex tape and just throw it on the air. Excuse the French but...what the fuck does that have to do with a match? The damn guy can barely speak English and he decides to air his sex life. One must already wonder who would even want to sleep with a guy that speaks about as much gibberish as a three-year-old. Then Chris...God only know what he says. Back to SVD, he is the guy who is actually aligned with Temper right now. So it looks like Temper has a thing for associating himself with these diseases. Yes, diseases. They have poisoned a once thriving business with their ignorance and worthlessness. Oh well, the industry might be dying out soon, but Phoenix sure as hell will not. She will destroy Paris and everyone like her...no matter what.

x~. Sticking To The Basics

The scene starts with Phoenix sitting backstage in her locker room just staring into space in her own little world. This would happen from time to time when she just went into thought. Once she noticed the camera man come into her locker room, she snapped out of the slight trance that she was in.

Phoenix Let me guess, you want a word from Phoenix right?

Phoenix nodded and shrugged.

Phoenix Typical.

Phoenix stood up sighed.

Phoenix Really, my thoughts on this match right now is just that it is another match. That is actually what a lot of these matches are nowadays. People are just throwing together matches just for the sake of filling up a card now. For me, I guess that is somewhat a good thing. After all, they continue to put me in the ring with the supposed "top stars" of WGEF, so I just get to keep defeating them all. On the other hand, it also gives me a chance to continue to prove my worth around here regardless of who I am put up against. The next victim just so happens to be Paris Jior.

Phoenix takes a second to think about her...not much to really think about though.

Phoenix Yeah, she is nothing all that spectacular in my book. Just another day in the life of Phoenix. Kick some more ass, take another name, get paid at the end of the day. It is really a simple process. I mean really, what can I really expect from Paris? She is affiliated with a guy named Temper. The last I checked, temper was a particular state of mind or feelings. Or better yet, it was like outbursts of anger and irritability. What...does this guy stay mad all day or something and that is what makes him so....whatever he is supposed to be?

Phoenix just shakes her head.

Phoenix For you to fall for someone like that...it tells me enough about you. So basically, I expect this match to be a walk in the park. That sounds pretty confident, cocky, arrogant, egotistical, and all of those wonderful words you might be able to correlate with that, but oh well. I cannot really blame myself. Your easy ride stops here Paris. You get no free ride due to someone walking out of the company this time. No, you actually got to fight your way out of this one and I can guarantee you that option is not going to work out for you. What I am going to do now is sit back, wait and see just how ignorant you will prove yourself to be. I expect you to come back with some supposed smart logic on why you are actually going to beat me. But do realize that I will pick that apart like little pieces of a puzzle, so I would be careful of what I have to say if I were you. Thankfully, I am not. The end.

Very plain and typical there right? Yeah, that was the plan. Phoenix saw no need for anything extraordinary. For one, her mood was not the best and it was only Paris. She knew she could beat this girl and she knew she was going to beat her. Now maybe Paris would pull some magic trick out of her hat or something. In that case, Phoenix would go ahead and bring her "A" game, but the way she was predicting this turnout, she could easily win this one with her "D" game. It was just that simple. She was looking to breeze right on past Paris right through to her next opponent, whomever that unlucky person would be.

OOC Statement: Yeah this probably sucks really bad but what can I say...no motivation really...wanted to make sure I didn't wait until last minute though...should get better in the next one or two...
